It's basic, simple, well-constructed, and worked.

We used the tie downs to tie down our pack tap to a solid box we keep in the Jeep. We did this when doing aggressive Jeep trails (that involved a lot of jostling of the Jeep). It worked well for our needs easy to use. It's a great item to keep just in case for multiple uses. Packs small. The integrated elastic strap keeps things tidy.

The best we have tried

We own an outdoor gear rental and we have tried a lot a different strapes... These ones are the best. We've been using them for 3 years for canoes, kayaks a paddle boards. They are just great, easy to use, and we haven't lost anything while using these strapes.

Best tie down straps I have found!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Sea to Summit Bomber Tie Down Straps for some years. I've tried others from time to time, but I always come back to the Bombers. The locking mechanism works very well and I like the little padding to protect the boats and the car.

Rubber pad needs to be more durable

Rubber protective pad broke on first time used. I had bought these tie downs In a shorter version many years ago and they were durable. It’s inconvenient to use them now. Other than the pad issue, the rest of the strap is good quality.

Love these straps!

I use these for the kayaks and SUP. The rubber pad is a nice protector on my wood deck. I like the 13' length as they are versatile for when I paddle alone or have to strap on a second boat.

Needed straps these were affordable and good quality

They work great! The rubber bumper protects your boat, they're easy to coil, and the buckles and strap itself are of above-average quality. Nice straps!

Protects our car

Really easy to use! The rubber piece is perfect to keep scratches away. Was used one time to keep a bumper to the car.
