Bungees to secure Trekking Poles
I use these bungees to secure my trekking poles to my Gregory Nano 22L pack. They work great and feel secure.

Broke on very first use...
saw these on REI.com and it was exactly what I was looking for; something to attach my hiking poles to my day pack. Got 2 pairs, one for my son and one pair for me. When I first used it, literally the very first time, just trying it out on the pack, the plastic end pulled off one of the bungee cords. No bueno! Now I have to go to the store to return a $5 item and order another pair on-line as my local co-op does not carry them. I only hope this was a fluke rather than inferior quality.

Basic Essential

Love these little guys! I use them to secure my trekking poles onto the side of my backpack. They’re really secure and I’m not really worried about them coming undone since they stretch and lock into place. I picked up another pair just in case though. Recommended to anyone for securing things onto their pack.

Plastic problem

I am not experienced with these cords, but I thought I could use the hook to the plastic. It immediately broke. It would’ve been helpful to have pictures/directions/examples in the packaging of how to use them. Seems like metal would be more durable. I expected better quality.

Very handy and light

Sturdy enough to hold a pair of poles or other small items. Light and unobtrusive when not in use. If your pack didn't come with these, well, here ya go! Put a pair on your pack and you'll find a use for them.

Great Little Addition

Very useful and a simple fix to maintain trekking poles, Ice axes, or any cylindrical items that you may want to carry on the exterior of your pack. I would advise to make sure you cinch them down tight when you're not using them (I've already lost one haha) or store them in your pocket or hip belt if you have one.

Nice attachment option

I love these for light attachments to my pack. Like my kids toy he insisted on bringing but doesn’t want to carry anymore, or the sticks he found that we have to take home. I put battery powered lights on my pack for night events with these to be see/found easier by my people.

Elastic with hook, what more are you looking for?

Solid product. Horrible shipping! 1ft square box for an item smaller than a deck of cards. The package was several times as heavy as the product itself
