NRS Gear
These straps will never let you down! I have a bag of these in various lengths for strapping my NRS Raft Frame to my NRS Raft.. Also work well to strap down gear on a Trailer or Roof Rack..
Works as expected
So far so good. Seem sturdy. Have been using for about a month including a six hour highway drive. Got them primarily for the rubber covered buckle. I use them to attach kayak to roof rack and the rubber covered buckle sits nice and flat against the hull of the kayak.
Best straps
Awesome straps, never loosen and are easy to use!!
quality gone downhill
these used to be ride or die, but the quality has decreased since they are no longer made in idaho. guess i’ll be looking for “vintage” river straps
Easy to use, great price!
Excellent for strapping down cargo onto our hitch! We had previously bought (from a different store) straps that had ratchets thinking that those would make it easier to get a nice tight fit. Those strapts and the mechanical features were garbage, so we decided to try these, which are also cheaper. They are great! Incredibly easy to use, securely hold our items, and the lenght is great. We likely could have gone shorter, but ultimately I'm happy to have extra length in case we need it and we can tie off the excess when not.
Best straps out there
Definitely the first choice when choosing straps! Super easy to cinch down, don’t loosen at all, and are super strong! The buckle bumper is also great when you don’t want to scuff up whatever you’re tying down. The bottle opener is also a nice touch as well!
Best Straps Ever
Always trust NRS for kayak straps on my roof. Never stretch and never loosen, even in the rain
Excellent Cam Straps
Excellent Cam Straps. I drove 150 miles in post hurricane winds with two large kyaks on my roof. The winds were strong enough to cause the j hook carriers to shift on the crossbars, but these straps did not slip. The rubber buckle bumpers are great and I’ll no longer buy straps without them.
Excellent straps
Definitely worth an extra few bucks for the rubber housing on the buckles to protect your boat from getting scratched. I’ve never had NRS straps fail on me. I usually buy sets that are longer than I think I’ll really need because I can always cut them down.
The best tie-downs
I’ve tried a few other straps to secure my rowing sculls to my roof rack. These are, by far, the best. It is worth the money to purchase the straps with the buckle bumpers to ensure that I do not inadvertently mar the hull with the metal buckle.
