Lots of cool features for a strap

Not only do I love the color of these straps, I really appreciated the UV-protected polyurethane material. Living in Hawaii, our equipment is constantly exposed to the harsh sun. They won't fade out and start to look grungy. Having the strap size imprinted on the buckle is awesome. I strap surfboards, boats and canoes to my car so naturally I have 3 sets of straps for multiple crafts. No more taking them all out and trying to get the sizing to match up! After a longgggg paddle or training session, they boys and I usually like to crack a beer so the bottle opener is an added bonus! I would definitely recommend these straps in all sizes for your next adventure, big or small!

Works Great

Does what they're supposed to do. My recommendation as with any new straps is to strap your gear down an hour before you drive off and re-tighten them every fifteen minutes before leaving. They will stretch first time out of the box.

Excellent upgrade to rope or ratcheting straps.

I’m using these to tie down my SUP to the van roof rack, along with Dakine rack pads. They work perfectly. The rubberized buckle is very important for this use. Super easy to tug the strap to be very snug and the buckle keeps it there without slipping. Excellent upgrade to rope or ratcheting straps.

Best straps on the market!

First off, the length of this particular strap is perfect. A pair of 9 footers are perfect for one boat. Secondly, the buckle is spot on. The rubber buckle has saved the paint on my truck, my cap windows, and my paddling buddies heads more times than not. The simple security of knowing your gear is where you left it is worth every penny. At the end of the day, if it’s important and you are relying on whatever you’re strapping down, you can't afford to compromise on the quality of the straps on your roof.

Preferred strap for trailer secure travel.

Always the best tie down for small craft. The newer feature of the rubber guard is just fine - doesn't interfere with use and helps pad against boat hull. I keep an inventory of these in many lengths. I use them myself, give them away, buy more!

durable and well made

These are the straps that all kayak carriers should come with. Thick, durable and solid. No fraying and locks on tight. I really like the rubber bumper too that protects your vehicle.

Great Quality

These NRS straps were my choice because I found the quality of the buckle and strap to be better than the ones you find on Amazon and local home improvement stores.

Easy Use, No Stretch, Rubber Surround Buckle

I got these to replace custom-made straps. In comparison, these NRS straps are easy to feed and I have seen little-no stretch. PLUS, the buckles are surrounded in rubber, a plus for using them so secure my aluminum canoe. BTW-am having the local cobbler sew on the hooks I removed from the prior straps.

The best!

The best straps I have found. Idiot proof and can't use these that would allow for slippage. A big plus is that the head is enclosed in thick rubber that protects your car and partner when tossing it around.
