Received used parts

When trying these straps for the first time the tongue of the clasp was really lose on 1 of them and moderately lose on the other. The first time clipping it to my Yakima HD bars the tongue slid off to the side and inverted so the clip was not secure. I was baffled and examined the clip noticing how loose the rivet holding the tongue on is. There is missing paint on the clip clearly having been used. I pulled out the other clips and examined them, they are much tighter and clearly brand new. I also don’t like how the straps seat in the bottom of the hooks. They really should have designed it so they don’t have to get crumpled and folded to move around the clip
