Love it, Amazing... But

I love the Stryker, it makes hot water in no time; it's easy to use and store as well as clean. It is really super. My one issue is that if you try and use a "flat" pan, even with the proper attachments, the hard plastic ring will melt making the cooking ring un-even and not nearly as stable. In addition, you won't be able to store the unit in the pot anymore. They need to figure this out. Why "plastic" in an area that can get so hot? Don't use this to cook, even with the attachments you can buy. Just boil water or cook with the Stryker pot.

Totally worth every penny

I am a new backpacker who carry everything on my back and camp with little ones. The fast boil is important because little monkeys normally cannot wait. I test in my yard and it was definitely faster than traditional backpacking stove. Very happy with the purchase!!!

Boil boil boil!!!

I recently bought the Camp Chef Stryker 150. At first I wasn’t to sure about it. Over the past three days, I’ve used it a ton! It is my new favorite camp accessory. I use it for my dehydrated meals, camping French press coffee and even to rinse off and clean dishes. I even ran water from the stream next to cam through a filter, then boiled it and put into gallon water jugs. I was able to boil the water so much more efficiently that I had to wait for the filter to catch up.

Perfect for ice fishing!

I have been using an isobutane version of this for a while now. Nothing better than something hot to keep you on the ice longer. I jumped on this propane version! So nice to not have to carry 2 kinds of fuel.
