Superb Analytics
I had originally bought just what watch at my local REI store with the intention of buying the two monitor straps later. Well, that turned into a hassle, so I returned the watch and order the tri-bundle from the REI website. And, am I glad I did! The tri-bundle also includes two quick release bicycle mounts. The analytics the watch provides when using the straps are impressive. I'm still trying to figure some of them out. From a training perspective, they're awesome. An awesome training tool.
No need for any other watch
I have probably had 6 or more Garmin GPS watches for running over the many years. However, I am adding swimming and cycling to my training and wanted a watch to be able to track all these different workouts. I decide on purchasing the Garmin Forerunner 935 Tri Bundle watch. I also am doing my first triathlon in the fall. This watch holds its charge for a few weeks, even when using daily in GPS mode for my workouts. The band fits great, and HRM on wrist is adequate when I do not want to use the chest strap. This also replaces my Apple Watch that I normally would wear when not working out. I get all iPhone notifications on my Garmin 935 Tri as well which is an added bonus. I have had this watch for two weeks and will attempt to use on the golf course this weekend also, as I believe that an app/widget is available for golf yardage and counting strokes per hole. I have not used for a swim workout yet, so I cannot comment on lap counting in a pool and the water chest strap. This watch also records my sleep habits as I where it 24 hours day. Is it pricey...yes!! But for those connected and tech savvy enough to repeat the benefits of the latests and greatest, this is the watch for you!!
Great for training.
Bought this 1 month ago. I was skeptical about the indoor swim HR monitor but stays put even during flip turns. Laps in indoor pools is accurate as long as you push off the wall. Run GPS and the software is fantastic. No regrets!
an improved Garmin
This iteration of the Garmin Forerunner (the 935) has proven to be easier to use and more intuitive. Expensive, but worth it to me, because I can examine the parameters of my exercises without searching for them and when I look for something on the watch itself, the search is easy and intuitive. So far, so good.
Great wearable
I bought Forerunner 935 to replace the Fenix 5 Saphire which was too bulky for my wrist. 935 is more comfortable to wear for small wrist and lighter too. I would have kept the Fenix 5 for its durability and casing allowing battery replacement later if it had fit my wrist. The Tri bundle is a no brainer for people who want the HRM-Tri and the Quickfix band adapter. Since 935 offers same features as Fenix 5, which I tried for a week, it is the best wearable on the market packed with features for a good battery life.
TRI HR MONITOR WONT SYNC
Love the watch, but what's the point of buying this bundle package if HR MONITOR not syncing TRI HR MONITOR watch keeps saying "Wear HR monitor to connect" I am wearing it still won't sync useless. Probably got a defective TRI HR MONITOR?
best hr watch best Garmin ever
I've tried all of the Garmins over the years and this works the best, is most motivating and most accurate. I absolutely love it.
