Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing comfort I bought these because of a hip and back ache from previous shoes. The moment I stepped into these it felt like I was barefoot walking on a cushioned mat! Sold! They've since made a huge difference in correcting the lower back and hip pain I experienced. I can stand or walk for hours. My only drawback is that the shoes have been so comfortable that I hadn't noticed I overwhelmed myself until I took them off! They are a great buy. I look forward to buying shoes and other quality items I can purchase while visiting the great sales team at my local REI store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good shoe There is a slight bump at the end of the tongue inside the shoe that rubs against the top of my foot when I was trying on the shoe/walking around. But when I'm actually running I don't notice it at all. I've been using these shoes for runs from 3 to 7 miles in distance and it has held up well! No problems with it yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would be great if was true to size I have a slightly wider foot than average but Asics usually have plenty of room in the toe box for me. I tried on the C width and it was rather narrow. So I tried on a D width and it was still a little uncomfortably snug in the toe. I wear an 8.5 but had to get a 9 just to give me enough room in the toe and this is with the wide variety. Even though I had to increase the size, there was no way I was going to go with a different brand because Asics is by far the most comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great running shoe but high on the heel The ASICS GT-2000 is a great running shoe but I had to return them because of a fit issue. After my first run I noticed the back hits higher on the back of heel/ankle than other running shoes. I never had an issue with ASICS before so maybe it's just this design.
