Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and warm I liked the feel of this bag. The fabric is cozy and feels nice on the skin. A little slick, but I don't slide around like crazy on my sleeping pad. I tend to get cold, and it kept me warm without ridiculous layers in 20s and 30s. But it worked one night I slept with a low in the 50s. It stuffs a bit big, but that's to be expected in a 14-degree bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this This bag kept me warm in some really cold springtime weather at the Grand Canyon. I'm a chilly sleeper & get cold easily so if I stay warm I'm happy. The last night I ended up putting a beach towel over my feet since I went to bed already cold & needed to warm up before nodding off. But it was snowing outside & only 18 degrees. I wanted to stay in bed all next day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this bag! I've had this bag for a couple years and have used it on several different camping trips at home and abroad. I've used it to hike the Inca Trail in Peru and also trekking in Nepal to Annapurna Base Camp (13,500 ft). I've never been cold at night. I did have a few layers on at the high altitude overnights. I love how I can pull the top of the bag down around my head. It makes a huge difference for me in staying warm. Sleeping in this bag is like my little comfort zone when I'm away from home. A lady on one of my trips remarked on how small my bag looks and how she was surprised I was so warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite what it's rated Took this bag with me hunting in the west elk mnts in colorado. 1st season it was october 14th through the 18th. The nights were around 20 to 25 degrees f. Inside our tent the temp read around 32 degrees. I was wearing two layers of clothing socks and a beanie. I used the pad off my horse as a barrier between me and the ground. I would say I was just warm enough to be comfortable. The bags comfort rating is 16.7 degrees. I don't think I would have been comfortable at that temp. The bag itself if comfortable to sleep in. I am a male 5'6" 145lbs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and Warm Bought this for a camping trip in Maine during the summer months. It was about 60-65 Fahrenheit each night but I found myself sweating most nights. It's rated to 15F so I imagine it does well on cooler nights. There are zippers on both sides - one of them goes all the way down and the other goes down enough to let my arm out. There's a bungee around the face of the bag which would be great for cooler nights but I haven't needed to use it outside of the summer season. Easy to unpack and re-pack. Great for car camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love! Bought this to replace my very old sleeping bag and couldn't be happier. I haven't tested it at super low temps yet, but have gotten down to the low 40s at least and it keeps me nice and toasty with just leggings and a fleece on. Warms you up quick, but I haven't had a problem with overheating yet (and I used it throughout the summer). Only thing that could be better would be the size it packs down to & the weight, but as I don't do much backpacking it works great for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really cozy, sadistic to put back in the bag I went camping for the first time, and I have to say my sleeping bag was great. Kept me Warm, bug free, and cozy because of the awesome lining and head spot. Putting this thing back in the bag however, is ridiculous. It took 3 of us. Other than that, happy with my purchase. For just over 100 to be rated down to 17- I believe it- it's a good buy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for car camping Too bulky, I exchanged it for a down bag. This does not compress and would have been a hassle trying to get it in my pack.

I really want this sleeping bag, but I am 5'7". The information above says it fits to 5'6". Is there any wiggle room or will it be way too small?

Asked by: Sarah
The regular length bag may still work for you depending on how you sleep. The long bag fits up to 6'.

Buying 2bags, Marmot Trestles 15, one for myself and one for my fiancé, should I get a woman's bag for her,  any thing special required when ordering so they can be zipped together , any disadvantage in ordering 2 men's bags?  Thanks, Rick

Asked by: Rick
To zip two of the Trestles sleeping bags together, a men's (left hand zipper) and a women's (right hand zipper) are needed. Two men's bags will not zip together.
