Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice synthetic bag I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It packs a little bit larger than a down bag (as is expected) but I like that it does better when wet. I am a 5' 11" male and I fit into the regular sized bag just barely, it could fit up to a 6' person. This is because of the way the footbox is designed where you have a little extra room at the bottom for your feet. Overall it packs down better than most synthetic bags and is plenty warm. We haven't used it in cold weather yet but it is very toasty with no insulating layers at 60F. The DOWNSIDES to this bag, since its synthetic, is that it doesn't pack as small and weighs a little more than a down bag would. Personally, I knew this going in and got a great deal on this through REI and so I'm pretty happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, Warm, Comfortable Bought this a little while ago and it is great! Went backpacking in Sequoia to Pear Lake, it poured rain then hailed then snowed for a bit. I stayed warm the entire time and was in a hammock with a tarp draped around me. I am 5'5 and get cold very easily but this was perfect!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not wide enough for me This sleeping bag was mostly great. Lightweight. Packed down well. Tall enough. The only con was that it was not wide enough for my body type. I am 5'9", so pretty tall for a woman, so I bought the long version. With 60" in the hips, I felt claustrophobic. I couldn't separate my thighs. I ended up returning it and getting a Big Agnes with a 63.5" hip width, which was much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stop looking, buy this bag This bag is a great value with great features - if you are a spring-summer-fall camper and realistically won't be in the woods when temps get super cold, I don't know why you'd buy another bag. I love it so much I'd marry it - you know, we already slept together, ha ha. I bought this bag after searching for a while and actually went into the store thinking I'd get another bag, but the helpful REI salesperson pointed out this one was over fifty bucks cheaper and had better features. First, it packs super small and is really light - opened up a lot of space in my pack! The dual-side zips make it really comfy for spring and summer camping when you might start out warm and then zip up later. I love the inside zippered pocket for a headlamp and other little essentials. The footbox does actually give you room to kick around while still staying warm. I would agree with other reviewers that this bag is not made for taller or larger-framed people - I'm 5'4" and on the petite side and had plenty of room through the body, but it is a more slender cut than other bags I looked at and might be tight for some curvy people (try them out in store!). Remember too that the warmth ratings assume you are using a sleeping pad - I have stayed toasty in this bag with a sleeping pad and wearing only long underwear with no problems. It's also nice and silky-soft. I don't really have anything bad to say about this bag, especially for the price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Back doesn't have much padding I purchased this online and was disappointed when it arrived. I love that it zips on both sides and wish more had this feature. The front seems to have enough fluff to keep warm but the back is lacking which might work for some but I sleep on my side and will not stay warm at night in this. The head seemed to be a lacking too. Returned this and went with a down sleeping bag instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag for the money. I bought this for my 10yr old daughter who had outgrown her last sleeping bag. Used it on a YMCA Campout, it worked well. My daughter like it very much. I like the enlarged foot area design and it packs down very well, should make for a good back packing bag. I also like that they included a storage bag as well as a stuff sack. All and all, great bag for the money. Went in thinking I would spend a lot more then I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection This bag is absolutely the best I've ever used! I bought a couple backpacking bags and one was not warm enough, while the other was warm and light, but way to bulky and took up most of my pack. This bag is light, compact, warm in 30 degree tent weather, soft to sleep in and pretty!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very narrow at the feet. This bag looks good, packs small for a synthetic bag, and seems warm. I unfortunately had to return it in favor of a bag with more room at the feet. I underestimated my discomfort when being restricted.

No, this sleeping bag uses a synthetic fill that is made up of ElixR HL polyester fibers. Marmot does not make a down filled bag in the Trestles line.
