Rated 3 out of 5 by from No fluff, narrow shoes Hoka One One did a pretty good job on creating a shoe with no additional fluff to not add unnecessary weight. However I found the toe box to be very narrow with little to no room for natural toe splay. I also found the cushion on the outside of the foot possibly made my feet want to pigeon toe instead of staying forward and straight. Lastly the design of the tongue was kind of bothersome. Wrinkles in the tongue made for uncomfortable runs even though the it has a very nice cushion strip down the center. The pros however are really great! Very lightweight shoe and very responsive on road runs. In my opinion this shoe is great for the person looking to increase their cadence and pick up their speed. I found it to be not my everyday running shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Racing Shoe Just to be clear, this is a racing shoe, or a speed work shoe for some. I only wear this shoe during hard workouts and races. It is a fantastic race shoe. I just wore it two weeks ago in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and my feet have never felt so good after a marathon. Normally, my feet are all beat up, but not in this shoe. I'm so glad Hoka makes these. It has also lasted much longer than most racing flats I have worn. For other training I wear the Clifton.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My legs feel better already I wasn't sure if Hoka's were right for me being used to a more minimlist looking shoe. When I saw the Tracer I thought I would give it a go. From the first run I knew I had made a good choice. I can't believe how much better my legs and hips feel already. have since done a few more runs and they feel great, very comfortable, breathable, light, and no pain afterwards in legs, calves or hips. I've found my new shoe and very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great racing shoe I did my first Ironman marathon with the Tracer. these shoes are awesome. My feet felt very comfortable all the time, I did not get blisters or anything bothering me. I also own a pair of Constant 2, but when I race with them my feet end up super beat up but not with the Tracers. The Tracer shoes are more to be used for races and hard workout training. For my other regular runs I will continue using the Constant.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lightweight Shoes + Narrow Toe Box Hoka One One shoes are my go to shoes. Naturally I was excited for the release of the Tracer shoe. Unfortunately these shoes were not a match with my feet. Things I Liked: 1. Great cushioning! The heel, forefoot and along the outside of the shoe has ample amount of cushioning. It's one of the first things I felt when wearing the shoes. 2. Lightweight. These shoes are extremely lightweight. Running up hills was a breeze and my legs didn't fatigue as quickly. 3. Great heel stability! No slipping and no blisters. 4. The tongue. Don't be fooled. This is a very lightweight tongue but Hoka One One placed extra cushion down the center to ensure the tongue stays in place and remains comfortable during your run/walk. 5. No unnecessary fluff! That's what makes these shoes lightweight. Thing I Don't Like: 1. The toe box. It's extremely narrow. The Tracer isn't your standard Hoka One One wider toe box shoe. 2. No natural toe splay. Because of the narrow toe box my toes didn't have room (if any) to natural splay on my run. I wear thin Injinji socks and experienced my toes becoming uncomfortably squished during my shorter, two mile easy run. 3. Too much cushioning along the outside of the shoes. Since there is too much cushioning my feet wanted to pigeon toe, point inward, instead of staying straight on my warm-up and run. These shoes are really streamline with no added fluff to ensure you receive a lightweight running shoe. If not for the super narrow toe box, these would have been added to my running shoe rotation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Raced a Half Marathon Outa the Box! Awesome! I bought these at the San Diego Rock & Roll Expo and was a bit leery in racing in them right away. I ran the half marathon in these and zero problems! They have a very soft upper, low profile around the ankle that I love and a very responsive feel. I have a neuroma and bunion and they did not bother me at all with these shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe! This is a great light weight running shoe with the traditional Hoka padding. It has a better look because it's sleeker and not so bulky. I use them for my half marathon training. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes haven't given me any problems at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What?! I am on my feet 11 hrs a day and moving constantly. I needed a show to help with pain in my feet, calves, back. These hit the sweet spot and I just knew I had found a miracle shoe. Sadly, after 6 weeks of wearing them 12 hrs a day, 3 days a week, they are breaking down. The webbing is cracking. I am shocked and sorely disappointed especially considering the cost.
