This Bike Rocks!

I bought this bike for myself as a Christmas present after doing lots of research on different lifestyle bikes. I wanted a cruiser originally, but then realized that they are super heavy and wouldn't last on longer rides. I am not a road or mountain biker type person either, so I just wanted something cute and simple, but that would last. I also flipped over the handlebars of my bike as a kid and am deathly afraid of hand brakes, which is why I wanted a cruiser with coaster brakes. THIS BIKE IS AMAZING BECAUSE YOU WON'T EVER FLIP OVER YOUR HANDLEBARS! Seriously guys, no chance. I looked into this SureStop system that REI mentions here as the first thing and if you look at their website you will see how it works (pretty cool, actually, like anti-lock brakes for your car, but it's on a bike if you're into that sort of mechanical thing). www.surestop.bike is their website. I tried this bike out in one of the SoCal REI stores and I saw the difference in the braking the second I got on the bike. Once you squeeze the lever you can feel how quickly you stop (it is almost scary at first because it is so quick and fluid), but you never even come close to flipping. If i slammed on my brake like I did on this bad boy, but on a normal bike, I would fly over the handlebars. On this one I squeezed as hard as I could and didn't flip at all. Plus, who can beat the cute retro colors. The burnt orange is way more vibrant in real life just FYI so go to a store to check this out. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for something that will last, but that is cute and safe too. Go Novara go!!

Beautiful Confidence Builder

We bought this bike for my girlfriend who has ridden a bike only a handful of times in the past 20 years. After a nasty spill on a nice-looking but old bike with squirrelly steering, shifting and brakes (yikes!), she decided to to invest in a bike that works well. But the bike also needed to be stylish. The Corsa Donna was all that and more. Not only is the bike a stunner, but the single-lever brakes and easy grip-shifting have restored my girlfriend's confidence in her ability to bicycle. She is having so much fun riding around, looking good, and getting some exercise.

An Excellent "Bike" Bike

My wife needed something that she could ride 5-30 miles at a time on with a few hills. She wasn't interested in having the fasted bike, or incredible components, she wanted something fairly light weight and comfortable. This bike is perfect. It's more of a European (practical) design, is fast enough, and is above all else fun. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a recreational bike for riding around the city/town, or putting in some miles with the family on a bike trail. The brake system is a little strange, but it's worked fine. Every now and then they get a little "stuck" and need a hard stop to reset them. It's not a huge deal, they just drag a little on the wheel well when it happens, and I imagine it's in part of product of the bike still being new and getting broken in.

I love this bike

I bought this bike a month ago and I love it! I'm not a serious bike rider. I just wanted something cute to make trips around town & run errands. My typically trips are no more than 20 miles per outting. Its a perfect bike for these kinds of trips, a nice bike that's lightweight, comfortable and so much fun to ride & I love the color and retro style.
