Nice Quality rack

I have used this rack dozens of times with many different bikes over three years. I have also used the competitors similar rack systems, and a couple different roof racks, and platform hitch mount rack. If the bikes have wide bars or other unusual features it can be tricky to get 4 bikes on. Also it is easy to see how bikes could bump each other while in transit. I just wrap a little piece of foam or cloth where the forks bump the seat tubes of the next bike. Platform racks are better. That said, this rack if fine. It folds smaller than a platform rack, and is lighter, and cheaper.

Good looking but terrible rack

I bought this rack to use with two adult and two kids bikes. The adult bikes were expensive new bikes. The first time I used the rack, the bikes touched each other and made serious scratches in the bike's paint. The 2nd time I used it, I drove for four hours and the rubber rings where the bikes sit actually moved during the drive and pushed the bikes against each other. My bike paints are ruined because of this rack. I am very handy and I am able to follow instructions but this is a cheaply made rack.
