Sizing Notes

Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.

SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.

TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.

Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.

Inseam is measured to the floor.

I'm more than halfway through an AT thru hike and have been using a Co-Op Quarter Zip Fleece since day one. I've used it as outerwear, an insulating layer, and as a sleep shirt. It's the single most versatile item of clothing I'm carrying and it will be with me until Mt. Katahdin. Pros: It's inexpensive, simple (no silly chest pocket that I won't use anyway) and versatile. Cons: None. Kudos to REI for not going overboard with logos as well. A small tab at the hem is the only thing identiflying it as an REI Co-Op product. The North Face could learn from this.

Seriously, these sleeves are abnormally wide at the wrists. Way more than my fleece from Eddie Bauer and North Face. Comfortable and not bad other than that for the $28 spent

Great fit good warmth

I'm military and I try to model my outdoor hiking clothes based on the 7 layer system we use. This fleece pullover is amazing. I'm 6 foot 1inch tall 180lbs with a average build.i kinda have long arms and I ordered this in a size large. The length on this hits 4inches below my belt line and the sleeves hit just above my knuckles. Which is perfect for me. Once I put on a pack or a soft shell the sleeves hit right at my wrist. So there is no extreme riding up the arms like my north face TKA 100 fleece pullover which is a size large also. I think this co op design is much better and cheaper. I will be buying one more I love it that much.

Great mid layer for backpacking

I picked this up specifically for backpacking, and have been very impressed. I took it on a four day fall trip to the Superior Hiking Trail, and I think I wore it 24 hours a day. I appreciate the simplicity - no pockets or cords to get under a pack strap, and the fit is just large enough to get over a long sleeve base layer, but trim enough that I could still get a lightweight puffy over the top for extra warmth. I haven't had it long enough to determine it's durability, but it seems very well made. I am 5'10 and 165 pounds, and a medium is perfect for me.

comfortable, warm and nicely cut

I'm very impressed with REI's new in-house line, starting with this fleece. It breathes well, fits beautifully (especially how the sleeves don't ride up your arms), and has very good warmth for weight. I especially appreciate how the sleeves are cut long to fit part-orangutan people like me, who usually end up with cuffs short of the wrists.

I miss this great pullover

I have the medium of this 1/4 zip fleece in black. Bought it in close out in early 2018. Use it for backpacking sleeping and hiking layering. It is perfect. REI, please restock this exceptional, well-priced men’s fleece top.

Great fleece pullover

Really love this item. Extremely light but warm. I used it on a day hike in Patagonia where the weather was all over the place. It did the job. Used it as a mid layer.

wear it almost daily!

I bought this on sale and I wish they had more colors in it! I would have bought a few more! This shirt is the perfect weight to wear in the 40’s to 50’s when out and about. I’ve added a vest to it in the 30’s and been extremely comfortable!

Warm and Comfortable

I recently wore this fleece on a camping trip in the Cohutta Wilderness of North Georgia. The temperature was below freezing the entire time and reached a low of 10 degrees. I wore the fleece as a mid layer garment over an Arc'teryx long underwear top. My outer layer garment was a Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket. The loose fitting fleece allowed for free movement of my arms and I kept comfortably warm the entire time. I also wear the fleece over a T shirt when around town. It looks great and keeps me warm and comfortable. It is definitely worth the price.
