Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great snowshoes for the active senior I already had a set of MSR snowshoes, but when the REVOLUTIONs came out I quickly bought them. They give me the same grip and stability that my old one had, but they are so much easier to put on and take off. I am 70, have had complete knee replacement of both knees in the past 5 years. I don't bend well and I have a heck of a time getting up when I fall down. Luckily with MSR Revolutions, I can get them on easily and their stability keeps me from falling. My old MSR's are now used by friends I take snowshoeing and they guarantee a great experience.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs better engieering Fourth uses and the plastic platform under my heal split. This should not occur as I am only 150 lbs. Bindings are OK but the straps do come lose and I even had a shoe come off in deep snow. I would have been much better off paying a bit more and getting higher quality pair. That's what you get when you buy stuff made in China.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fun!!! I used these on the chicago lakes trail in the mount evans wilderness area in the middle of the snowiest january colorado has seen in 15 years; 10.2 mile hike, i wore the snow shoes 7 miles of it, man when i put these on i was floating!!! this was my first snow shoeing experience and these things are amazing!!! so light, i am able to jog in them when i want to! I am able to wear these with my normal water proof running shoes because the straps are so adjustable, i love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice basic snow shoe Already a fan of MSR's snowshoe design bought these for a second pari with my Evo Ascents. There are just as well made and easy to use while lacking the extra steep terrain features which is fine for what I use them for. As with all MSR snoeshoes they have straps that are pretty easy to use with gloves on and the very best grip even on icy terrain with all those teeth.
