Unbeatable for the price!

This is my fifth pair of Sunclouds. I've owned a pair since the days of real ground glass lenses back in the early 90's. I'm pretty impressed with these shades at this price point. Excellent quality and comfort for $50 (or less). I love the versatile light brown lens tint, the optic clarity & contrast, the light weight and the comfort. I use these while driving or anytime I'm outside & it's not really dark or cloudy. The tint work very well in lower light conditions as well as bright sun. The only caveat is that the temples don't grip your head tightly (which make them very comfortable to wear for long periods of time), so you probably wouldn't want to use them for mountain biking, whitewater rafting, etc. IMO, Suncloud approaches Smith Optics quality at a much lower price (Suncloud is owned by Smith). I own a pair with brown lenses & one with rose lenses. Highly recommended!

“Smith owned company” yadda yadda ya. This is my third pair of Sunclouds and was impressed with the value and quality. After is lost my first pair, I bought another. After about a year of use, the lens coating started to flake and peel off. Sent them in and they were replace under warranty. Another year later, same problem. Since my glasses were discontinued, they offered me a credit on another pair which was basically free. Sent them in and it took Suncloud over 4 months to send me another pair due to “logistical issues” of moving their company. Understandable I guess but I haven’t had these glasses 3 months and the lenses are starting to flake again.

Great value

Great decent quality polarized sunglasses for the money. After breaking the frames on several Smith's I couldn't justify their expense any longer. The SunClouds are durable and I like the amber lens. I do notice eye fatigue after some time, likely due to clarity. The lenses aren't unusually soft, but will scuff if dropped enough times!

Great sunclasses

These sunglasses really bring out the colors and I love them, plus they are reasonably priced. There are a couple different lens colors so make sure to check them out in the outdoors so you can see if you like the tint. I love that the don't have nose pieces to get tangled in my hair and the classes stay up and don't slide even when my face gets sweaty.

Nice glasses

I've only had these for about a month. They fit well. I like that they wrap around because they will help protect my contact lenses from wind while skiing. I'd give them a 5 star but haven't had them long enough to know how easily they'll scratch.

Great quality for the price

I purchased a black pair from a different retailer last fall. Fell in love with them. Great quality, fit, light weight, and the lenses are really clear. I've had four pair of Serengetis, and while good, these seem to be just as well made at half the price. Made a trip to REI just to get the brown pair. Same exact high quality as my first pair. Love these things!

Good for women, too

These look great on my female face. Perfect neutral gray lenses, medium shade - not over dark or too light. Curved design doesn't let sun shine in from the periphery.

Nice sunglasses for the price

I like the fit , the wrap on sides protects my eyes more and the lens shade(color) doesn't cut down visibility as some sunglasses have done for me

They do the thing

Solid, stylish (or at least I have thought so over the last three pairs) droppable without tears, polarized sunglasses that do what they are supposed to do well, while still being at a price point where negligence on behalf of the wearer isn't a cardinal sin.
