Lightweight sunglasses
These sunglasses are lightweight, have a good amount of tint, and definitely have full coverage. Especially on my smaller face! Like any pair of sunglasses, I had to put the arms on the outside of my hat, as otherwise the arms were a bit uncomfortable. But I have yet to find a pair of sunglasses that doesn’t do that. They didn’t seem to fog up with exercise which was nice. The optics were pretty decent for the price point as well. Basically not a bad pair of sunglasses to have around.
SUNCLOUD Amplify Sunglasses
The SUNCLOUD Amplify Sunglasses have great wide lens, comfortable temples (arms of the glasses), and beautiful sleek design and color! I loved how they stayed on when walking and moving my head, and while running! The lenses are polarized and perfect for being out during sunny days. The nose pads fit my nose and face perfectly and did not slip when I started to sweat! The only thing I did not like about them was the weird effect the lenses give sight. In other words the lenses display an almost 3-D like effect that can make a person dizzy and should be fixed.
Lightweight Coverage!
These sunglasses are light weight, offer full coverage and provide great coverage from the sun due to the tint and polarization. I have worn mine during kayaking trips, daily running, hiking, and driving in the errand and they have been great! The glasses are comfortable on the nose and ears, and importantly, they stay in place due to the design without being restrictive. So far, the glasses have been very durable which is vital and had performed well during wear and tear of being on the water and hiking. Highly recommend them if you need coverage while outdoors!
Feathery panorama
The Suncloud Sunglasses surprised me with their lightness, they are feathery. So far, they haven’t sacrificed durability, as long as you are careful not to scratch them, the flexible frame securely attached the sunglasses with ease. I wore them in wind gusting up to 30mph and they never moved. I forgot that I was even wearing them, they really disappear into the background letting you focus on the view. I really enjoyed the crystal clear view unobstructed panoramic. I never felt my peripheral vision impeded like I do with my normal sunglasses. The polarization seems stronger than my alternate sunglasses and with the desert brightness, I look forward to putting these on. The one con is fashion, my girl implied they weren’t the best look on my face, but that might say more about my face than the sunglasses. The benefits functionally have certainly outweighed the disadvantages for me. They are a great hiking, running, and climbing companion out here in the Nevada desert. You won’t catch me without something shading my eyes and recently it has been the Sunclouds.
Light, Secure-Fit, Perfect for Outdoor Adventures
The Suncloud Amplify sunglasses are everything I hoped for and more! The no-budge fit is no joke—these glasses stayed exactly where I put them, no matter how sweaty things got or how active I was. They’re bigger than I expected, but that turned out to be a huge plus. The larger size offers excellent protection from both sun and wind, which is perfect for kayaking, biking, or any other outdoor activities. Despite their size, they’re incredibly lightweight, so I hardly notice I’m wearing them. Another great feature is that they’re not so dark that you have to take them off in the woods or when clouds cover the sun—they give just the right amount of tint for those variable light conditions. Overall, these sunglasses are a solid choice for anyone who loves spending time outdoors!
Big coverage for big faces!
These are great shades for cycling, just not for me. I have the other unfortunate combo of a small face and short forehead, which makes finding cycling sunglasses kind of tough -- there's not a lot of real estate to work with! As you can see in the photo, the massive coverage on this style is just too big for my face and helmet. There was a lot of pushing the nose bridge up when I sweated and/or my helmet pushed them down. It was alright on pavement/gravel, but the frequent adjustments are a nightmare on singletrack. That being said, I think these would make a perfect fit for those with bigger faces. The coverage is excellent -- your entire field of view is shaded. Plus, the lenses maintain contrast well while darkening the landscape. I tested these under bright conditions in the desert with no cover and found that my eyes were totally comfortable the entire time. I wish the nose piece were a little grippier and perhaps a little more protruding to help with airflow and accommodate the smaller faces within the cycling community. Especially considering that a lot of us with smaller faces are women -- so many unisex cycling products seem to be designed mostly for men, and it can be tiring to find something that works for us. Not right for me, but certainly a great value for folks whose face size and shape work for this style.
Convincing!
At first the lense was bigger than I expected. However wearing them for cycling and running I really like them. The size of the lense had me worried they'd feel heavy and bounce when running, but the fit was perfect. They offered excellent coverage cycling and felt weightless running. I would say the tint is very dark, not ideal for heavily wooded mountain bike trails, but perfect for sunny days with high exposure. Would absolutely recommend if anyone is in the market.
