  • Traditional bindings feature 2 areas of release: sideways toe release in the front of the boot and vertical or forward heel release at the back of the boot
  • Kneebindings offer an additional dimension of sideways release in the heel, reducing the chances of strains and tears to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL)
  • Resin and stainless-steel components offer high durability, excellent energy transfer and light weight
  • Mounting system is designed to work with the natural flex of your skis and reduces unwanted release
  • Hard, flat boot platforms efficiently transfer pressure from edge to edge, and toe-height adjustment eliminates play
  • Wide mounting platform enhances leverage on today's wide skis
  • The Kneebinding Mist downhill ski bindings feature a 90mm brake that fits most all-mountain skis and some all-mountain wide skis
  • Features 3 - 12 DIN settings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great binding, great company These bindings are outstanding if (and only if) they are installed properly. Do NOT take them to a local ski shop for mounting unless they are KneeBinding certified. REI technicians are certified, and understand the different mechanics of these binding. I trust my knees to both of these companies. An REI technician failed one of my bindings, and also corrected the improper mounting done elsewhere. The KneeBinding company stands behind it's product even if it is out of warrantee. I have them on all of my skis and won't trust my knees to any other binding. If mounted correctly, they release when they should, but never have released inappropriately.

Does the price include mounting on my skis?

Asked by: MJ1000
The cost of the Mist Downhill Ski Bindings does not include mounting. The bindings must be taken to a certified ski technician along with the skis and boots for proper mounting. Any REI store that has a ski shop would be happy to mount the bindings. Price can vary by store. The link below will assist you in finding your closest store. http://www.rei.com/map/store
