Excellent binding as I’m going from a Strive 12 to the stage for a weight savings of 2lbs. I was a little worried about prerelease with the lower din. though so far so good. No release. The heel seems to have a strong sharp engagement when stepping into the binding. Which I like.
Great lightweight binding! does have a shorter mounting plate but was able to feel more of the natural flex of the ski giving a more smooth and controlled feeling during a run. I used these bindings to replace some older ones that gave out for my wife and the feeling of lightweight stage gripwalk 10 binding did not comprise any other aspect of skiing in mild to heavy powder.
My wife is 115 pounds, and has Stages on 2 of her skis. She's never had any performance difference between these and her Strives. If you're light or not a hard charger, these can be a great choice!!
