Outstanding helmet. Have had many over 20 years and most recently the Giro Xar, E2, Bell, etc. Comfort! First helmet that I truly forget that it is on. Superior adjustment - easy to loosen or tighten the helmet fit on the fly which is nice when wearing sweatband, beanie. Solid. Ventilation is fine. Recently did a 30+ mile ride in 100F temps and not a issue. The helmet will feel different at first....inital reaction is one may notice new wind noises or jiggling due to larger visor.....but once your brain adjusts they are never a factor again. Worth every penny.

I''ve tried many helmets before, last one was Fox Flux, although a great helmet, very well ventilated, it doesn't have the perfect fit of the POC, that thing just stick to your head and doesn't move even at the most aggressive & bumpy trails, It also suppose to protect my head pretty well, but that feature I have not tried yet :-) On the down side, the helmet is not that great when its a hot day, ventilation is poor compared to the flux. It also produces very strong wind noise when speeding up (>15 MPH)
Safety helmet
I bought this a month ago because of the MIPS feature that I hope I never have to test. MIPS provides additional protection against a possible concussion due to angular rotation as well as drop protection. A typical bike helmet only provides drop protection. If you want to minimize the risk of a concussion or traumatic brain injury, read up on MIPS technology. You only have one head - protect it with the best available technology! Comfort and ventilation are better than my old helmet.
Way better & cheaper than a CT scan
Husband & I ride daily and have been riding with this MIPS helmet since it came out. Although it looks bulky, it is very comfortable and vents well. Buying a replacement today due to a fall and direct head hit to the ground. Helmet and head held up great. Not nearly enough stars for this one!
