[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, I picked this up during Black Friday deals and I'm in Tahoe right now. This was definitely worth it. Wore it while shredding and held up great. I'd recommend this for your next shredding session. Highs 40 degrees and low 20s in the night. Kept me completely warm and cozy. Not overly hot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It had been years since buying new gear for snowboarding. I was perfectly warm without feeling hot. The size fit as expected; not too loose and more importantly for me, not too tight and restrictive. Plus, I got a ton of compliments on the mountain on my 100% North Face outfit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the jacked and it's usefulness in rain as well as in winter but after two months I found stretches in the right pocket of the jacket which is embarrassing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome. Perfect for cold weather. Cute.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great Jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a exact replacement for a prior Northface jacket of the same style. It is great for all weather below 30 degrees and weatherproof against snow and rain. If additional layers are required, this jacke easily accomodates the layers. The only criticism that I have is that this jacket does not have a feature to clip gloves or mittens. But, it is great jacket, even without that feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: wore this in 30degree weather in Sapporo Japan. Thin and breathable, but surprisingly warm for how thin the jacket was. Didn't even layer, just wore a T Shirt underneath. Stiff when new but softened up after couple days. Cons: weather flap Velcro is heavy duty and aggressive. If you are not careful it easily snags and can ruin delicate clothing
It's been a great jacket so far I use it on days where it's snowing and on really cold windy winter days Can get a little too hot, but it has nice zippers under the armpits and all around pretty good quality with a nice main zipper Velcro zipper covers. Good pockets all around pretty nice jacket doesn't get too wet. It's pretty water resistant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a kit for skiing with my 3 year old daughter; and prioritized comfort, warmth, and pockets (for gummie bears) over having the absolute most technical outerwear on the mountain. The Freedom series hits the mark and has been great. Look good, feel good...time to smash pizza and french fries over on the magic carpet.
Zipper is flimsy, pulled apart on first wear. Customer service was terrible, refused to return even though worn once and defective, said I could mail it in for 6-8 weeks for repair, didn't have any advice on what to wear for the winter while they had my brand new coat.
