Great jack with an drawback
The TNF Terra Peak jacket is honestly one of the coziest jackets I own, and it's great for staying warm. The material feels nice and sturdy, so I feel like it'll hold up well. That said, there are a couple of things that I don't like. It doesn't have a cord at the bottom to tighten it up, so wind can sneak in sometimes. Also, without the cord, it makes the jacket look pretty boxy, which can make you look kind of bulky and square. Still, for comfort and warmth, it's awesome-just not the most flattering shape.
I tried to like this one...
I really tried to like this jacket, but the fit is odd. Firstly, even though I bought a size small, it still feels too baggy around my belly area (no strings/strings to adjust). Secondly, the sleeves are shorter than my previous TNF one, so sometimes my wrists are out especially when moving my arms like driving because there is no proper strap or tightening on my wrists. I bought a similar one with down fillings and a slim fit over 5 years ago and I miss that one. I'm keeping this one though...

My new favorite jacket
I love this jacket! I live in Minnesota and it's in the 20's Fahrenheit this week. I can drive around in the car with this jacket and not get hot, but walk the dog outside for 30 minutes and feel so comfortable! I can run errands down to around 0 degrees in and out of the car to the store. Long dog walks would require a shell under 15 degrees.
Excellent Purchase and Great Fitting.
I've been waiting for a replacement for my original North Face winter jacket. All the options available before this were slim fit only, until this garment became available. It's comfortable, warm, and fits great. Looking forward to wearing it for many winter seasons to come.
Nice jacket
Love this jacket! I got it to replace a Mountain Hardwear one that I had worn out. I was surprised that it's as warm as it is. I like the fit and color, but would have liked to see an exterior chest pocket for a phone.
I absolutely would buy it again
This jacket is stunning, with vibrant colors that perfectly complement its cozy warmth and snug comfort. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase and highly recommend it to anyone looking for both style and comfort.
I really like this.
This jacket keeps me warm on nice days that are cold. Stops the wind nicely. It does ride up a little on me as i move around since it is a light jacket but that is probably normal. This is my first down jacket.
Very large and boxy compared to similar jackets
Originally bought this jacket to serve as an everyday light but warm puffer jacket, is much too bulky to be worn everyday so will either sell, return or keep for very cold days. Disappointing.
Fantastic lightweight option
I own many down jackets, and this one I've worn the most out of all of them this season due to how versatile it is. Pertex is also a fantastic material, cannot recommend enough.
