This is my 2nd one. I had to buy about her because I love my original so much. I legit love this jacket, keep me comfortable in a wide variety of conditions. It’s been since 2019 since I’ve had a jacket I’ve loved this much, happy to have been brought together. Oh, also very tough, and seems to be brought back to looking like new after a month or so of outdoor living.
This is easily one of the best light weight puffy for moderate activity. It handles cold weather exceptionally well for how light it is. The stretch baffling makes movement incredibly natural. I have worn this jacket while bouldering on some colder days and I was impressed by how well it performed. The material is durable and holds up to abuse.
This particular jacket fits great; however, it is not warm at all. If you wear a hoody with it you should be warm enough. I would go with a jacket from Columbia. I have noticed the jacket sizes for Mountain Hardwear are weird. Mediums are on the smaller side and a large fits more like an XL.
Love it. Have the heftier stretchdown jacket but this one gets use a lot more often
Great light weight layer. Useful by itself or under a shell on colder/windier days
