Awesome Down Hoody

I bought the black color for casual wear in the winter and for cold days in the mountains. I was able to test it out in the Sierra this past weekend and it was everything I hoped for. It looks great, fits very well over layers, and is extremely light. On top of that, it is very durable. I was wearing it the entire time while I was at my camp and I was never once cold.

Excellent features and my fav puffy

Sturdy shell, excellent warmth to weight ratio, excellent fit so I don’t look like a giant marshmallow. What I love most about this Jacket is the collar and hood design and construction, it offers excellent protection from the elements and is comfortable and roomy enough to move your head about freely without the jacket or hood binding up. Excellent product!

Super Warm, High Quality, Cool Color

Super Warm! I love the jacket, but the sizing is a little weird. I’m 5.10, 180lbs and found the Medium to be too constricting in the arms/armpits. I went with a large because the movement of my arms and fit in the arm's was way better, but the torso is a bit big. Either way it’s fine because I can layer up underneath with another puffer!

Great warm jacket

Very warm. Pretty light and packable for the warmth (can compress to slightly bigger than a Nalgene bottle). Fit is standard. I’m 5’9, 155 pounds and the medium fits great over a base layer and fleece and under a shell. If you want it to fit over a shell (belaying or ski touring), I would personally go up a size. Great jacket overall.

Hood is a deal breaker

I’m 5’11” and 188 lbs. I got a size L. The jacket is good looking, well made, and has some nice features. It was a little big, so I likely would have tried a M. Then I tried the hood, and this was huge dealbreaker. Unlike most other hooded jackets where you can generally cinch the hood to a more snug fit, the cinch cord goes around the circumference of your head like a vise. Imagine putting a wire around your head and squeezing it tight. That’s what it feels like; incredibly uncomfortable. I even asked my wife to try it out to make sure I wasn’t crazy. She agreed; it’s terrible. The only reason I can think of that MH did it this way is that they expect you’ll be wearing a helmet and won’t feel it. But I don’t and couldn’t wear the hood for any extended period of time without it driving me nuts. MH makes great gear, but this is hood is nonsensical; no idea who in product development thought this was a good idea. Redesign that and it could be a great jacket. But I will be returning.

Great Jacket

This jacket came in the nick time with winter temps dipping below zero, it really keeps away the cold. The hood comes in very handy when the wind picks up, with the tall zip up collar my neck and head stay warm. I'm 6'1" 150 lbs and large fits perfect. I really love it.

Fits Great for Climbing.

Awesome lighter parka option compared to a typical belay jacket. This is great for a faster paced mission and alpine season. The fit is great for moving while providing substantial warmth. Comfy when needing a warm jacket to rappel in.

A beautiful jacket, very warm, super light, but small in size... I have the same jacket in size Small but it's already old and it's fine for me, but I also bought this one in size Small and it's very small.

Warm and super light

I wanted a jacket that's warm, light and can be packed down when I travel in winter. This did exactly that. The only minor minor thing I have is that it would be great if it came with a pack/bag for it...
