A fine coat. Don't let the solar color throw you. It looks like a pink/orange on my Mac, but in person is really a light clay color which I love. I am retired, so it will be a lifestyle coat for me, but living close to the ocean here in NJ, I use it for walks on the boardwalk where it can get quite blustery, down to about 20*. Not that the coat isn't good below that temp, but at 75 years old, I'm not! So, the warmth of 650 fill down, a great looking piece of clothing, and a sale price-you can't go wrong. Also, arrived sooner than expected.
Good winter and low temp jacket. Its longer and a tad baggy/active since its made for riding, so take your normal size and layer underneath for really cold days. It's super comfortable and will keep you warm and dry. Hood is definitely a little too Raph, it's made for riding with a helmet on, so its too big for casual wear but I knew that would be the case for any snowboard jacket so it doesn't bother me.
I LIKE THIS JACKET. I've only used it at a lowest temp of 28⁰F so far. But I will update this review with a bit more experience.
Perfect for over the gortex layer when transitioning from uphill travel in BC terrain too.
