Not as heavy as a hiking boot, more robust than sandals: perfect for summer outdoors walks!
Not Comfortable.. !
Doesn't fit great, feels hard...the materials feels cheap not quality like before, the sole is not that soft.. miss the vibram soles in your shoes.. the shoe lace is just a small string.. not much elasticity. Bring back the great quality shoes you guys made yrs ago, the ALL OUT BLAZE, SIEVE..thanks.

Luxury looking
Bought them in store while looking for some hiking boots . They are pretty luxury sandals to the eye . The sole is thick n comfortable . I wear a 7 men 8.5 women. I still have great amount of space in these so I would say they run a bit big. Overall I love the shoe

I purchased these for my fishing kayak and they perform perfectly! Quick drying!
They're okay
This is my first pair of Merrells, having worn Keen water shoes for many years. I appreciate the comfort, but find both the shoe's lace and its plastic adjusting toggle, is thin and chintzy, making it harder to achieve a good overall fit. Given the high quality of the shoe, the penny-pinching on this integral part of the shoe is confounding.
Great for Summer Adventures on Variable Terrain
This is a well made supportive sandal that is excellent for use in various environments. The Maipo explorer is excellent for getting in and out of the water when engaged in activities like canoeing, kayaking, and SUP. The protective toe cap is a must for adventures in the summer!
Great Pair of Sandals
Well made and comfortable. The only downside is they squeak when you walk. Very annoying. Another reviewer had the same problem. After having my Keens become unraveled at the heel after less than a year, I will stick with much better made Merrells.
From Reykjavik to Paris
On a 3-week trip through Iceland, London, and Paris, these have proven versatile and comfortable. I wanted something that would dry quickly if weather or walking conditions got wet and these have held up nicely.
