Great Arch Support, Tough on Feet
By far the best arch support of any outdoor sandals, for me they even cure flare ups of planter fasciitis. My biggest gripe is that even the Cloud footbed is not all that soft and the texture is rough on my feet. I don't have this issue with Keen, Ecco, Teva, Astral etc., only Chaco. I also wish they would use tubular webbing on the straps, which would be softer and not dig into your skin. I tried to leave these comments on the Chaco site, but they seem to have stopped taking reviews.
HORRIBLE durability
These sandals COMPLETELY split after wearing for 5 months (live in midatlantic so have only worn them during the summer months) and owning for 13 months. For a $100+ shoe, this level of damage is unacceptable.
Solid sandal. Good price
These sandals fit well, are comfortable and affordable. Strap adjustment was touchy since I have wide feet. Once adjusted though they work great...and I do a lot of walking around our farm.
Everyday Use
I use this as an everyday summer sandal and is great for slip on for short distance or tightening straps when need sandal to be secure
Great as always
Fits great and sturdy got 12 my feet are fat so usually at 12-12 1/2. Fit good. Love my chocos
Tried them 18+ years ago, this time a keeper.
Tried these 18+ years ago. Felt they were too narrow and returned them. Keen H2 has been my choice and I've had the same pair for over 20 years. They were starting to fall apart so I looked to replace them with another H2. However, reading the new reviews about how long they last now had me looking elsewhere. Since the Chaco's now come in a wide, I figured at least try them out. I'm generally a 10.5 in Altra, Salomon, and Five Tens. 10 in Adidas and Under Armour. 44 in Shimano cycling shoes. I had ordered and returned the Chaco Paonia a year ago. I had ordered 10 and 11. The 11 was too big and the 10 was a little tight on the top of my foot but was the right length. I ordered a 10 wide in the Z/Clouds. While I could have gone with the 10, I felt they were a tad bit too long and wanted to make sure by trying the 9 wide. The 9 wide was perfect length wise. I was a tad bit worried about the right arch since it seemed like it the 10 gave me a little more room or fit my arch better. However, having walked in them twice I think I made the right choice with the 9 wide. With the 10 I would have to tuck the cinch strap, no problems with that on the 9.
Great River Shoe.
Great durable shoe for the river, very comfortable.
comfy sole, comfy strap
I was tired of having chacos with a toe loop since it was so uncomfortable so I purchased these. The strap on this is wide and comfy on my feet during long hikes, the sole is so comfortable, I will never buy a new pair of chacos without this sole again. This style allows my toes to spread out when needed. I do get blisters if they are wet
Love my Chocos…third pair
These are my third pair of Chocos for a reason. I’m definitely a fan of the Cloud sandals over the original, as the originals took a bit of time to get used to each year. I loved the color of these enough to buy them despite my second pair still being in top condition. I would recommend them.
Chaco downgraded quality
Bought online, but I might return as the sole is the non marking version instead of the sole that is good for hiking
