I really wanted to like these shoes but unfortunately my pair has a major flaw that there is a part of the shoe that concaves in rubbing on my big toe causing blisters on both feet just from walking in them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Hyperion 2 running shoes were beyond my expectations. It fits true to size, both the width and lengthwise, and it’s super lightweight which makes them really comfortable to wear not only when I run but also when I go to work or to run errands. The fabric is really comfortable, breathable, and stylish. Even the shoestrings are so high-quality that they don’t come off easily when I run. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the fact that the brand name itself (Brooks) is written over the shoes. I wish the design was more subtle. Nonetheless, these shoes are so comfortable that I think I will wear them anywhere everyday from now on. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes have a classic design to them; especially for a running shoe. They are versatile and can be worn anywhere! I love the combo of grey, black and tan; and the ombre in the mid-sole. I was even taken aback by the rubberized laces as it prevents the shoes from loosening up. The shoes are beyond comfortable! They offer a lot of shock absorption in the heel and bounce in each step. The front of the shoe is roomy and after wearing them for weeks, I have zero irritation on my toes or sides of my feet. The fabric does not rub at all. I truly love these shoes! Brooks has done it again with another winner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a huge fan of these! I just had my second baby, so I’m slowly easing back into running and these shoes are great for that. They’ve been great for walking my dog and my new double stroller, as well as going for short runs. Now that they’re broken in, I’m excited to put more mileage on them. I love how light they are and the detailing on the laces is so cute. I also really like the shape of the bottom and how they feel like they’re propelling me. I have pretty wide and flat feet, and when I first tried these on, I was worried that they would be too narrow for me. Luckily, after a few wears they started to stretch a little and form to my foot, but I would love to see a wide option!
Game Changer!! I own 12 pairs of the Ghost 15s which I love so much but after trying these out... I fell in love. These are absolutely amazing for running... best shoes ive tried hands down!! Has the support and cushion you need and saves your knees.! Lol It Feels like I'm running on clouds. Has awesome ventilation and the shoe laces stayed tied the whole time because it's the grippy kind. Most of all they carry these bad boys in Teal!! My favorite color. Love them!! Brooks did not disappoint! My only changes would be... get rid of the giant logo, just too big in my opinion and also wish they had more fun colors and prints like the Ghost 15
Out of the box and onto the road for 4 miles. These shoes didn’t need a break in period. I had ordered a pair for me and my husband and couldn’t believe there were two pair of shoes in the box, because of how light it was. The shoe is super breathable and supportive without being too restrictive. I had tried Hokas, but with the rigidity had foot pain half a mile into my run. The only concern I have with this shoe is that when running on a wet surface, they didn’t grip as much as I would like. But other than that, these are definitely a new favorite for me!
I kept at them hoping I just needed to break them in and get used to a new shoe (I’ve been a Levitate devotee for years and figured this would be an upgrade), but after ~15 runs, I just can’t do it. There is a strange s-shaped ridge down the middle of the foot bed that makes my foot wobble back-n-forth between overpronation and underpronation - this instability can’t be a good thing (certainly doesn’t feel like a good thing). Also, the muscles between my tarsals work really hard managing this shoe, so much that my feet feel very tired and strained after just a few miles. I just can’t make sense out of this shoe! Given the price, I am extra-disappointed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a well cushioned yet breathable tennis shoe that are great for your long training days or walking around the zoo with your kids. If you are someone with narrow feet that enjoy the mesh construction of the shoe, these are for you. If you have wider feet or walk on the inside of your foot, you may want to try for something more structured. I love the look of these even though they offer the wide toe box and supported footing, they still have a nice silhouette. The tan on the bottom are so cute for and the laces are an elevated touch.
I love these shoes so much. I had been running in the original Hyperion and when it was time for a replacement pair, I panicked because of the upgrade but decided to take a chance. I didn’t think it was possible, but I love these ones even more. Both shoes are incredibly comfortable, but these are WAY more cushioned and therefore are much better suited for longer runs. In fact, I just ran a marathon in them and they were awesome. In my original hyperions, my feet would get sore around 8-10 miles in. These are still light as a feather but just so much cozier. Plus, I’m obsessed with the laces. I didn’t need a break-in period at all. It was love at first run. The design of the whole shoe is just very sleek, light, but well-cushioned. I love this shoe and never want it to change!!
Brooks sizing has been extremely consistent for years in the shoes I’ve ordered. These shoes broke that consistently. I always ordered a size up in my running shoes, which I think is pretty common. Either the shoes I ordered are mislabeled, or Brooks has built that upsizing into these shoes. The insoles are actually longer than shoes I’ve previously ordered in the same size. The huge Brooks lettering on the inner side of the shoes is also a bit tacky. I much prefer their generally more discrete branding. Apart from that, they are very lightweight, and would undoubtedly be comfortable about a half size down.
