Cushioned and supportive for my difficult feet.

My podiatrist recommended these for my extra wide flat feet, as I place a lot of pressure on my forefoot and have bunions (including a tailor’s bunion), so finding the right runners has always been a struggle for me. Before these, I constantly dealt with forefoot pain and went through multiple pairs that just didn’t work for me, including asics gel kayano, brooks adrenaline, Nike etc. These have made my forefoot pain go away. I usually stick to stability shoes because neutral ones often feel too unstable on my flat feet, but these provide enough cushioning and support. I love the black upper with the white sole and rose gold accents—it gives a really nice, feminine touch. Highly recommend if you have similar foot issues like mine! I would love to see wide options in more colours please Brooks!

Most comfy shoes I have ever had!

I tried those in store and decided to look online, lucky me they had cheaper on the website. I tried 5 different shoes and Ghost Max 3 was the best one, not extremely cushiony, nor look silly like other brands. Looks amazing, feels amazing, I bought it for long shifts when I'm on my feet and it has made a big difference in a positive way so far ❤️

Walking on Clouds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing solely Ghost style Brookes since 2017, I’m 42 and over the past year have realized my feet just need a little more cushion for comfort. I just ordered my first pair of Ghost Max, they are the MOST COMFORTABLE pair of tennis shoes I’ve ever owned, my feet are thanking me! Only caution: be careful doing lunges or asymmetrical exercises I find it super easy to twist ankle with the extra cushion yet I highly recommend for casual and walking! Love these shoes! I also wish they came in brighter colors and darker soles! I will definitely invest in future shoes of Ghost max!

If you like Moon Boots you will love these

They’re HUGE. Feels like running in a marshmallow. I don’t understand these “Max” versions because they’re nothing like the original version of the shoe. I got a ripple under the bottom lace because I had to cinch them so tight to make them fit, and I got a crease on the toe of the shoe after ONE MILE. The length of my true size was fine, the sole felt awesome and plush, but the shoe fit horribly on the upper. I’ve never stopped and walked the remainder of my run because my shoes were irritating me so badly, that’s exactly what I did with these. Returned. Don’t reply to me Brooks, get your quality control in line. I should be able to order my size in a shoe and it fits me but everything is all over the place.

Initally nice, then too much "cush"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmmm. I ordered the Ghost Max 3 as a replacement for my Adrenaline. I was attracted by the serious "cush" sole and thought that would feel great underfoot. I have orthotics, which I thought would likely fit, given these are Brooks. The good news is that my orthotics fit fine and the shoes look amazing. The bad news is that the "cush", while initially feels great, after a short time felt "klunky" and unweidly. I found myself tripping as I had to adjust to a much thicker sole and didn't appreciate how the sole completely prevented my foot from feeling the ground. I decided to go back to the Adrenaline, even those these were attractive.

Buy them now!

I have bad feet. Every metatarsal in both feet have been broken. My arches have dropped. And, let's not leave out the fallen arches or foot pain. I tried these on without much hope honestly. I thought they wouldn't be wide enough. Or, they would make my feet hurt. I was wrong. It felt like I was walking on a cloud! I bought them right then and there! My only complaint? That I didn't buy them sooner! I love them! Even after a few days, my feet felt great in them! I plan on buying another pair! I have arthritis in my knees and wearing these don't make my knees hurt! They have such great support! I understand why these are so popular!

no happy feet here

What?!? Wore a hole through the toe after maybe 15 uses. Haven’t done that since I was 6 years old. I’ve been wearing Glycerins for 12+ years. I actually still have a pair of Glycerin 14 that had been downgraded to cleaning/gardening use. I’m about to wear thought the sole, but the toes are still intact. Thought I’d try these overstuffed soles to see what all the hype’s about. They are comfortable, but how can they have a hole already? Joke’s on me since I bought a second pair, for when these wear out. Ha! Who knew I’d need them so soon. I just took out a new pair of Ghosts that I bought for the pretty summery colors, so much nicer than the sad colors Glycerins are known to sport. I just hope they perform better than the Max version.

Total comfort for 8+ miles a day in Orlando theme parks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a mom of 7 whose running is just keeping up with active kids! We just took an epic trip, celebrating being together as a family after my husband and son both beat cancer. We spent 15 days adventuring - averaging about 9 miles a day - and my feet feel great! I rotated these Ghost Max 3s (whose color perfectly match my Oswald loungefly!) with my trusty Ghost Max 2s and had zero issues. As a mom who really needed this trip to remind me of the important benefits of daily movement, I will share that 9 miles a day is *much* more than my typical activity level and I am pleasantly surprised to be on our way home and ready to put in some steps when we arrive!

EDS & Lymphedema Patient review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Lymphedema, finding adequate shoes that have the necessary supports as well as can fit my foot is HUGE! I’ve been raving about the Ghost Max 3’s to all who will listen. I’ve spoken to my physical therapist as well who usually helps me “test” my shoes and this passed the test! I’m so excited to find a shoe brand I can constantly rely on and that provides the necessary support even without my braces. The only reason I’m not giving my full five stars is due to the lack of colorways. I would love to see more colors. Sometimes the color choices are a bit too vibrant for everyday wear versus gym attire. But otherwise I love this Brooks these are my third pair, and it’s safe to say I’m a brooks fan for life!

Terrible

I almost never write reviews, but felt compelled to do so due to how much I dislike this shoe. I’ve worn ghosts for the past 10 years and this is by far the worst. It is nothing like the previous. For one thing they are way too high. I feel like I’m almost rolling my ankle just walking around in them. Another thing is you absolutely cannot slip them on due to the material and how the tongue lays which as my daily shoe I like to be able to slip my foot into without untying. The light color is getting dirty really quickly and I don’t even wear them outdoors mostly. They just don’t feel like the old ghosts and are not comfortable.
