Electric connector cord broke after first use
I have these in my downhill ski boots and they work really well, I love them. However, my husband installed his in backcountry ski boots, and the electric connector cord broke the first time he used them, while taking his foot out of his boot. I don't think these are designed for backcountry boot use, so beware! Probably too much torque on the cord when opening your boot out of ski mode and struggling to get your foot out. And when we tried to return them a little over 3 months after we bought them, REI told us you have to return electronic products within 90 days. We were on a road trip for a couple of months and couldn't get to an REI. Bummer!
