warm hands

I enjoy this hand warmer. I usually use it on the low setting and I think the high setting could burn bare skin if you fell asleep while using it. It seems very dependable. I have used it three times only. I love that it is rechargeable. I wish the blue light that indicates the heating level was not as bright and a bit less conspicuous, although it does provide enough light to wonder around the house in the dark. I use this at home when its a bit too cold for me since we heat with wood. I got this on sale so it was a great deal.

Surprising as a power brick & amazing heater!

I bought this on sale so was not expecting much. Surprisingly the Zippo Heat Bank 6+ stores nearly twice the power of much bigger bricks. I recently had an emergency occur on a property up along the Canadian border and had to fly without a chance to get home and pack. The friends I stayed with had laid out a mattress and blanket in an outbuilding. The night was surprisingly cold and after laying my jacket and a towel on top of the blanket they gave me (everything helped) I tested the Zippo’s heater. The nights were in the 40s and I put the brick on its lowest setting. I had seven full hours of heat that made a huge difference. Placed it under an arm or against my kidney or beside my neck to generate increased body temperature.

It’s so useful to have both a hand warmer and a flashlight. I have Raynauds and this helps a lot.

works!

This device really gets hot! There are three heat levels from which to choose. I use it on my core vs. for my hands most of the time, but do use it to do a quick warm up for hands at times. It is really too large to fit inside of gloves/mittens. There is a charging port to charge it an a USB port to charge other items. There is also a bright flashlight. Indicator lights tell you the charge level and the heat level. since I use it on my core, I wish the neck strap was a bit longer. The strap is definitely not long enough to keep around your neck if you have it in your hands, but serves as a carrying strap. The device is a bit heavy but the fact that it works better than disposable hand warmers, lasts longer and re-chargeable makes it a great item to get handy! Four stars vs five stars because the port cover broke off.
