Battery doesn’t last
I bought a jet force pro 3 years ago and only activated the air bag system at the beginning of each season. Last winter I tried to charge the pack only to find out the battery no longer takes a charge. Tried to get a replacement battery 7 months ago from a local dealer with no reply back from black diamond, although I see that the battery is available now… Ended up buying a second bag at the beginning of the winter that was barely used and it had the same problem… I’ve heard of the same problem from multiple people. This bag is unreliable and you’re better off with a canister in my opinion. Ended up trashing both black diamond bags and went with the mammut system.
Jetforce 2.0!!
I'm super stoked on this update to the Jetforce. Carries better, fits more stuff, and the zip on/off compartments make it customizable to the day's objective. Love having a battery powered airbag so I never have to hesitate to pull it. It also pairs with my phone for updates and diagnostic checks which is super convenient!
Great pack...hopefully I never have to use it.
Great pack. Haven't had to use it yet in an emergency situation. But have tested it a couple times. Everything pretty user-friendly and easy to use. I was amazed at how easy it is to re-pack the airbag after it's been deflated after use. Having the ability to test this bag is well worth the price. I was worried that the diagonal ski straps weren't wide enough for my powder skis; the straps just looked pretty small. But...it fit my 118 underfoot K2's just fine. If I had a gripe at all...it would be that it's tough to haul water with this pack. I haven't tried using a reservoir yet...but I'm not really even sure where you would have the reservoir in the pack. If you're rocking a water bottle, it's a little inconvenient having to unzip the whole pack to get to it. Certainly not a deal breaker though. I bought the 35L expansion, and that's what I primarily use. Tons of space...just a little cumbersome digging out a water bottle. Overall, I'm very happy this pack!
Jetforce
After a few years, I had to send the product in for repair and they told me that the battery could not be replaced and they would offer me a 15% discount on my next purchase. Not exactly what I would have expected for a quality product
