Soles falling apart on both shoes after only using for three weeks. Very disappointed! Not the quality product I expect at REI!
Wide toe box, but, extremely sloppy fit. No contour inside. Insole must be immediately replaced with quality insole (by Form). But then the upper quickly separated from the midsole/sole. These are hands down the worst shoemanship Keen has ever produced. Total failure. Both shoes started falling apart within 10 miles or less of average walking. Keen is onboard with the fake environmental agenda, which shows in the useless flat insole, printed with all sorts of lame slogans, but, no concern for comfort or quality. Remember, all recycled materials are lower quality. Shame on keen
Incredibly comfortable! I bought a pair for work and i love the way they feel. The soles dont seem to be very high quality though. They started getting scuffed up on the inner toe on both sides. I thought it would stop but it just got worse and i dont know if these will last. Id be more understanding if i was using them to hike rough terrain but again i just wear them to work. Just want to reiterate, i dont mind the scuffs but the fact that i can see them seperating from the rest of the shoe worries me
The craftsmanship seems to have changed on the last 3 pairs of Keens. I’ve had to send back the last 2 pair because of defects.
Not very satisfied with these they ripped at the base and the seam in less than a month
Still not as good as their old original shoes that were shaped like the human foot, and had plenty of space for toes. But this new model is better than any other in roughly 10 or so years. The toe box has decent space. Have had Dr and podiatrist tell me my feet are normal/athletic feet. Only issue is that some day when I'm old my high arches might fall. I looked at friends feet and they are mostly very narrow, and to me look bizarre. Like a squirrels. But I guess mine must be the rare. Who knows. The targhee II wides are agonizing and the ones with the rubber ridge on top are too tight in the toes. These are the widest Keens for sure. I wear these constantly for work and hike daily.
Soles on both shoes fell apart after only three weeks of use I’d expect better from a product purchased at REI.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some one from Keen plz get in contact with me. How do I send these back? One a side note the shoe I got felt really good for the first week, i do landscape work and they were comfortable and my feet didn’t hurt like they do in some boots. But they broke on the heel of the shoes..
These boots are terrible if you are hiking anywhere with rocks...which is pretty much everywhere I go. Bought these for a couple of day hikes in Colorado this fall. They were okay going uphill, but starting downhill I could feel every pebble through their ridiculously soft sole. I absolutely hate them...killed my feet the whole way down and I could feel every tiny pebble on the ball of my foot. I cannot recommend these to anyone.
The shoe itself is amazingly comfortable and fits the foot right out of the box with minimal to no break-in time. Its also incredibly grippy. WITH THAT the increadible grip comes with a sole that will get worn down quickly, i've had these shoes for two weeks and have put 18 miles on them just walking on the roads and as normal day to day use shoes. I've work through a good chunk of the sole and haven't even had them a month, I want to know if this is normal for this series of boots or if i'm being too hard on them by just walking on level ground.
