Athletic fit merino shirt

Excellent quality Merino shirt with and athletic cut and fit. I have many standard t-shirt merino shirts from Smartwool, Ice Breaker, REI and others. However, most of these are baggy and casual. This shirt is exactly what i was looking for triathlon training while biking and running when i sweat like crazy. The athletic fit is perfect with the merino wool to prevent sweat stink. It reminds me of a Patagonia merino shirt i had and wore to threads with love. I would buy another one of these if they go on sale.

NOT 100% Merino

I'm disappointed in this shirt because it is not really a merino shirt. How do I know? Because it stinks! What I love about Merino base layers is that they never retain body order. I looked closely at tags when I purchased (in a store) and everything said Merino. But as soon as I wore it I realized it wasn't. I finally looked at the fine print on the washing instructions label and it's only 40% merino! Very disappointing and misleading.

Different

I love the fabric. Mixing it with tencel makes it comfier than 100% merino wool, but it's still pretty warm on a cool day.
