I an at 200 lbs and these snowshoes gave good flotation in all but the fluffiest snow and the spikes worked well in the ice.
As many others have remarked, the binding is absolutely terrible. I cannot believe that Komperdell tested these and thought they were good. First, I cannot get my size 13 shoes all the way forward, then the laces are too short and flimsy and the spring lock is poor quality. Then the heel strap is hard to tighten even when they are dry and warm. Once it is frozen that's what it is: frozen in place. Impossible to losen even with naked fingers. Additionally the crampons are so so, I slid quite a bit. Save your money and buy something better!
