Solid Bag for the office or trails

I got this bag so I can have a daily work bag to bring my laptop and work gear, but I also wanted something that I could take on the trail with me. This fits the bill perfect. I wouldn't use this for hardcore work traveling as it is not that big, but it is perfect for bringing you laptop, water bottle, notepad, and a few other items back and forth to work. It also looks very professional. It will also be the right size for a day hike. It has good support and adjustability like all Osprey bags. It also has the slots to put a hydration pack in the backpack and have the hose come out. It attaches to bigger Osprey packs if you are doing a backpack in Europe type of trip, which is a nice little bonus. Great pack for the price, recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the daypack to accompany the 40L Fairview Travel Pack for a 12 day trip to Costa Rica. Having both packs made navigating the airport so much easier than lugging around a wheeled hard case. The daypack was great for trips into down, short hikes on the trails, and carrying all the rain-ready gear needed for the beginning of the rainy season. I look forward to using these bags again and again for more travel, whether for a long weekend or more international travel.

Awesome design for the bag.

Absolutely love the design of this bag. I also like that you can attach it to the other Osprey packs. I recently purchased the new Fairview 55 pack which came with one. But then realized That this bag Can also be attached to my Kresta 30 & 40 and purchased another one. Once again awesome design. Five stars!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This isn't made for the Sojourn Porter 46 (carry on travel pack) but it fits. So you can attach it to carry it to the plane and detach to put under the seat for things you need on the flight, then pop it back on to walk out of the airport. No more: big pack on the back and small one on the front ...making it hard to see where you're walking. You may end up doing that for safety but you get to choose when to clip it on. As a day pack it's nothing special. It works for walking around cities and short hikes. As a travel system, it works better than any other two pack options you have.

This is *almost* a great daypack

I got this with the Fairview travel backpack. I love how it attaches to the backpack, but it's just awkward. It's about 2-4 inches too narrow and the zipper on top doesn't open wide enough to facilitate easy loading or locating things inside the pack. The mesh side pockets don't really hold a water bottle, especially if you have anything in the pack. There are no exterior stash pockets except for a small pocket on top, so nothing can be readily accessible. I just wish it was a couple of inches wider with main zippers about 4"" longer.

Great Day Pack!

This pack is a phenomenal addition to my growing Osprey collection! It is just the right size, and the laptop compartment fits my 14-inch MacBook pro. I love that I can attach it to my Osprey Farpoint 40 when I want to bring a daypack with me on trips. This pack makes for a great work bag as well. It has an exterior stash pocket with an interior laptop compartment and one additional compartment, which makes for easy organization. It is a high-quality bag, and I am pleased to purchase it with my Farpoint 40. Thank you, Osprey!

I got it to go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it to go with my Fairview rolling pack, thinking it might be useful that it can clip together; but I didn't end up clipping them together on my recent trip. The size and proportion of the space inside was a little awkward. The volume seems to get a little narrow in the middle, so it's hard to get things in and out, especially if there are bottles in the pockets. I was really wishing for some sort of stuff-it pouch so that I could stash something temporarily. Overall I really wanted to like this more than I did.

Nice roomy pak to carry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice roomy pak to carry essentials such as wallet, sunglasses, phone, keys, camera. It’s a bit tight when a light rain jacket, sunscreen, ipad and bucket hat are added. Nice exterior pockets for water bottle and umbrella. There is a key holder and small laptop compartment. The interior zippered pocket is tight and not very useful. Missing but nice to have is pockets for passport, phone, pen, ipods, and electronic cables. Overall, nice pak , easy to use and fits my short frame.

After a year

This has become my daily use pack. I bought it as part of the Farpoint 55. I like the fact that it is slim and stays close to my back. I am a wheelchair user, and it maintains a low profile while hanging from my backrest, or back. Everything is well placed, allowing me easy access to bottles, keys, phone, and wallet while keeping my laptop or tablet safely tucked away. The zippered section on front of the laptop divided is great for chargers, stylus, pens and so on. The main compartment allows for plenty of room for my needs. If it isn't enough, I also have 40 liters of space I can attach. Because it has the option to attach to the big bag in the front, I was able to carry a ukulele strapped to the big bag. Options are helpful. I may get a second, knowing that this one will age faster than the big bag... I could also plan more trips.
