Great multi-purpose bag!
Yes , I recommend this product
(I have one of these Proxima bags in Barley Brown, not purchased through REI as they didn’t have them on the site at the time!) This is bag is great in terms of size and organization. This is pretty much the Osprey Flare, but with a separate laptop compartment (nice when you don’t open the whole thing for just your laptop), and an outer cinch area similar to the Porters or larger Transports. I think the straps / harness on this feels a lot better than the Flare, it is just missing a waist strap (I am going to add one). I am 5’3”, and this bag feels a little longer than what I would normally buy, but it doesn’t feel “too big”. I have been using it for work and martial arts classes, and it has been great for both purposes. I think it would work well as a travel bag, too, though it is a little bigger dimension-wise than the 26 plus 6, so it might not fit under the seat in front of you or may be a smidge too big as a personal item. Overall a great bag if you’ve been looking for something to suit multiple needs!
