Cozy and fluffy but sizing is very off.

The other reviews are true. I am between a small and a medium in Columbia. I have a small Benton Harbor that I wear with t-shirts in the spring, and a medium that I wear with sweaters in the fall/winter. They are my coats on all but the coldest of days here in New England. I ordered a large in this one. It fits perfectly with a sweater underneath which is what I wanted. Just took a walk on a sunny but cool fall day (45 degrees) and it was perfect. I love the higher pile fleece. It looks a bit like corduroy, and the tie at the waist gives it great shape. I'll buy this in a second color in a heartbeat.

Runs VERY small

I bought an XXL, and I usually wear a size 16-20, smaller on tops. I could BARELY fit in this. I CANNOT zip it up. Instead I wear it around the house over tshirts - because I can't use it any other way. I wish Columbia embraced women of all sizes. You can be "fit," but "fat," and I would really like to be able to wear quality outdoor clothing. Just because I'm on the bigger boned side should not preclude me from wearing your clothing. Do better, Columbia!

Cute and medium warmth

Just received my jacket today. Was excited to get it but sadly it’s going back. I am firmly a size small in Columbia coats and jackets but whoa.. this is way too small in a size small! I need to send it back for a medium and possibly a large?? It’s not very thick, no lining or 2nd layer to it. I only tried it on, so I don’t know how warm it will be, yet. Wish I could just do an exchange or store return. Supper bummed about that!

Soft, comfy but wish it was more snug

Sherpa is guaranteed the softness, its so warm and its comfortable. I wish it fit more snug to the body, even with the lace I feel it gives a square look. I'm 5'2 so it fits long which is good since most fit right at the hips. Color is nice and overall I still love it. No zipper in pockets, zips up nicely and even goes high up to your neck to keep you completely warm.

Good sweater, but not a good jacket

My wife got this - she loved the color! Two things, however: 1) the waist drawstrings are too high (if you have big breasts, well, that's a problem), and 2) it isn't wind resistant at all (although since its fleece, that isn't unexpected) - she would have liked more of a jacket, while this is more of a sweater.

Soft & Comfortable

This jacket is as it is described...perfect for travel. It runs a little small as suggested in the description so I bought the next size up and it fits fine. The only drawback in the fit is that the tie for the waist is a little higher than the natural waistline (at least on me) so it is perfect for high waisted ladies.

Tight sleeves

The jacket is very pretty. It’s warm and cozy. However, the sleeves are really slim and tight. I would have returned it if I didn’t get it at the reduced price. I am petite and weigh 106 lb and got a size small. I probably would just wear sleeveless or cap sleeves tops inside. No bigger sizes are available either!

Fits perfect

Based on some reviews saying it fits on the smaller side (I normally wear medium) so I was going to get a large, well as I checked out I realized I had put in medium. I waited to receive the jacket before returning for larger size but when I put it on it was perfect! Thank goodness I didn’t go for the larger size!

Runs small

It runs small, especially through the arms. I bought a medium and I think it would probably be uncomfortable if I tired to wear a sweater underneath. I’ve been sticking with t-shirts and thermals. As others have mentioned, it’s definitely not thick enough to be considered a jacket (at least in Minnesota).

Beautiful and soft.

I’m 5’6”/ 128 lb. The jacket is very comfy and soft. I brought one M beige and I was feeling amazing on it so I decided to buy one more in dark blue. You can adjust the waist so you can show your curves or you can hide your curves. The jacket looks expensive. I received many compliments.
