Sleek, comfortable, stylish and leather!
Thank you Bogs, for finally going back to leather! This is a clean, sleek boot with a really nice fit. I ended up going up 1/2 size, which allowed an additional insole for more insulation and foot bed support. Even without the additional insole, the boot is super comfortable. The outside zipper took a little getting used to, as I instinctively wanted to zip them from the inside or even the back, but that is definitely user error, not Bogs. I purchased the boot in black and dressed up, or down, they have received so many compliments due to the slim profile, especially for a utility boot. They clean easily as well! They've been great in the drizzle, waiting for the big rains to really put them to the rest.
Lasted about a year on pavement
Really loved these boots at first, after replacing the soles with something more flexible and supportive. Truly is waterproof. But they only survived pavement; the second I stepped onto a park trail the outer sole split away from the uppers and got my sock soaked. Now they're falling apart all at once; the pull tab has ripped off the back of both them. I haven't been especially brutal wearing them. Disappointed with the level of durability for the price.
Comfortable and Stylish Casual Ankle Boots
These are comfortable and stylish casual boots. I've been wearing them for walking in the country and in town. I haven't yet worn them in full rain, but they're great on slippery autumn leaves. The low heel and cushioning add good support. My only worries concern the side zip, which is on the outer-facing side of each boot making them a bit awkward to zip, and I wish the zippers were sturdier. Still, these feel great and look nice, and even at full price are a good buy.
The perfect boot!
These boots fit so well, I may never shop another brand online again. They fit my wide feet with plenty of room to wear them all day, they feel cushioned and supportive even on long walks, and keep me dry and stylish even in the rain. The Hollys have quickly become my go-to winter shoe and I anticipate buying an additional color, since I can't imagine wearing any other boots now. Dress up or down, for work or for dog walking, they rock!
My red boots!
As a size 11 I was a little concerned by all the comments about sizing running small. But they fit me with almost too much room to spare. Room for thick socks! They feel great and supportive and I love the red color. I first saw these in a shoe store and they were adorable - in the size 5 on display. What's not to love? But It's always a little bit of a let down when my size 11 comes out of the box as a BOOT, not a bootie.
Love this boot!
I am very pleased with my Holly Zip Leather boot. I was looking for a sturdy , lightly lined boot with good tread for walking on winter sidewalks. They provide nice arch support, are snug but not tight, and are comfortable when walking. These boots are also stylish. Another successful Bog boot purchase:)
Very disappointed
Very disappointed that these boots are not waterproof as advertised. I purchased them specifically for an outdoor dog show where I'd be walking out in the morning dew. My socks are soaked. I love the color and fit, but the leather looks like they're old and worn after just four days of morning only wear.
More than worth every penny
Walked 6 days in Montana pheasant hunting. Walked over 15 miles & my feet have not hurt once. I also farm which keep me on my feet a lot of the day. My feet never have hurt once. I traded my comfort tennis shoes for these boots and will not buy any other brand.
Narrow, narrow, narrow. Pixie feet only
Beautiful shoes, Wow! But made for pixies feet! I cannot fit my normal width feet into them. These run so narrow, and I've noticed many other bogs shoes for women are narrow. Guess I'll have to shop elsewhere.
Comfortable despite the design flaw.
I love the boots but what's up with the zipper on the outside of the boot? It is surprisingly awkward to zip and unzip. Change that. It's a bad design flaw. They fit well and I love the color-a muted red.
