I purchased these to wear as a versatile damp/wet/cold weather boot for daily wear in Wisconsin. I am a teacher and have a standing desk (on my feet all day, recess and dismissal duty) and these boots have felt amazing, have gotten wet and not been left with water spots, have handled salty/sandy snow/ice/slush patches like champs. I have no foot or back pain. I can go from classroom to hiking trail with no issue. Highly recommend.
