Merrell  Bristol Mid Boots - Women's

I bought these boots because they’re so cute, but they have become my number one favorite hiking boots ever! They are super stable, completely waterproof, extremely comfortable, and very grippy on loose or slick rock. I am so happy with this purchase and would definitely buy them again. Thank you Merrell!

I bought these boots for my European trip this summer. We were both hiking through the Dolomites and doing city events like seeing Beyonce in Paris. These boots were the perfect boot for versatility, comfort, support and style. I was able to wear them in the misty rain of Amsterdam without worrying about ruining them, as well as climbing through the alps. They are fairly lightweight and easy to fit in your bag. I got a size 10, I usually wear a 9.5, and I had no issues with the fit. Of course I will have to see how they wear over time, but for the 70,000+ steps i took in them over 10 days in Europe, I am so impressed!

I received the Bristol Hikers last week. You could definitely climb a mountain, they are completely waterproof, sturdy and very cute. I was disappointed there wasn’t more padding in the tongue, well, really the whole ankle area like my Merrill hiking boots. They are really large in the toe box and width and I have a wide foot for a 9medium. I would have tried 8.5 if I were in a store. Normally, 8.5 is too short in Merrell’s. I added my orthotics and wear thick socks and have plenty of space. I have the white with black sole, they are great for casual and going out. I know I’ll wear them all winter. I’m almost done breaking them in. They were really squeaky where tongue rubs. I used leather conditioner and the squeak is gone.

I bought these to hike around Oregon and California RedWoods area, and boy howdy were they comfy. I sized half up so I could wear thick socks and complete perfection from the 1st lace up. Not a blister the entire trip. Sadly I took mother Ocean for granted and a wave got me and my new shoes. After they dried, it was salt city!! But after washing with vinegar water and a light conditioning BAM like new!!

I love the Merrell Bristol Mid boots! They’re both stylish and practical. I’ve worn them to church and on my daily walks. I ordered my usual size and they’re a perfect fit. The inserts add some nice cushioning, but I can also remove them if I want to use my own orthotics. When I strapped these boots onto my snowshoes for some winter hiking at Mt. Rainier, my feet stayed warm and dry. I am very satisfied with the quality and appearance of these boots.

I really like these! I originally purchased the green/black color way but they didn't quite match my wardrobe. These bring the cool/athleisure/hiking vibe without being too rugged to wear or style. I love them with leggings and they look cute with straight-leg jeans as well. I will say they're not the most breathable shoes, but I don't expect leather shoes to be that. Really excited to wear these in the fall, and excited to have a white boot that's not suede that will be easy to take care of. Definitely recommend. I also appreciated the ease of the exchange process.

These boots came after I'd been on my feet all day. I had to try them on right away. Left them on for couple hours, actually forgot I had them on because there are so comfy. Also they are easy to tighten and release. Have worn them all day several times, with no issues.i wear a size 10, frequently order 10.5 or 11's so I can wear heavy socks and I have wide feet. I ordered size ten because other sizes not available. These boots have great toe room. Sale price was part of my decision. I got all black because we r outdoor people and get dirty. Also have worn them on motorcycle, no trouble shifting, great ankle support and love the look.

Great boots! Comfortable. Great traction on Ice! Good winter city boots. Not sure I would wear them for hiking.

I really like these fun boots. Very lightweight with good traction. Run big-I am always a 9 or 91/2 in boots and an 81/2 worked best for my wide feet.

I am heading to Alaska for hiking and fly fishing and needed versatile boots. I really appreciated the details posted by the other reviewers and though I haven’t gone on the trip yet, I’ve been wearing them around to break them in but it almost doesn’t seem necessary. They are very comfortable. I wear an 8, bought an 8. Fits true to size. My daughter bought a different brand of hiking boot that is cloth for much of the shoe body, i think that will be difficult to clean and keep dry. These Merrell, on the other hand, I love as the material will be much easier to clean and will be more water and element resistant. I’m probably going to use this as my go to snow boot as well!!
