Sturdy, awesome shelter!

I purchased this shelter for a beach camping trip at Assateague to provide us with sun and bug protection. This shelter is GREAT! The shelter itself is sturdy and well-made, it kept the bugs out and the sun off our skin. The door has a large, sturdy zipper that was easy to use. I thought I would need longer stakes for the beach, but the stakes that came with it were top notch and kept the shelter firmly in place at our beach side camp site. It also fit fine around the over-sized picnic tables at Assateague, and would easily fit over a regular picnic table. As other site reviews note, there is a noticeable lack of airflow while in the gazebo, the breeze doesn't get through very well, but that's bc the mesh works well to keep bugs out. I am a short woman and can carry the shelter (in the included storage bag) by myself, but needed assistance to pop it open. Overall this is a great gazebo.

Beautiful, very easy to put up tent, pretty heavy and could be awkward to carry for some vehicles as it is 6 feet long folded up. The space inside is huge and it is VERY sturdy in strong winds. You would need to buy the side flaps if you want privacy or warmth. And when I bought the tent, REI didn't carry them so I had to buy them from Amazon. However, it is a little hot if set up in the sun because it only has one door and doesn't have a roof vent. And, we had one short rain on our first trip and the seams along the sides at the top of the screens let in a lot of drips. We have not seam sealed yet but there was obviously no factory seam sealing. I dont know if this will fix it. I will get back to my review if it still leaks and then I would have to take it back. You may not need it to be waterproof along the edges if you are just using it over a picnic table but it is our living room and it got a little wet.

4 days hard rain, never soaked through the roof.

Roof was dry, walls not so much waterproof, w/o side panels, leakage around the edges. Utah, and BC, and Ontario North. Would buy again.

Excellent well-conceived bug shelter

Bought the G6 with 3 panels package in Desert Sand for a cross country trip to the Maritimes. Impressed with the quality, attention to detail (light colour, rain flaps) and ease of set-up - it’s enormous for two people but accommodates a picnic table as well as our chairs when the bugs are out. A real outdoor room. Stands up well to PNW-type downpours on the East coast. As a reasonably fit 68 yr old woman I can even set it up and take it down on my own (as long as it’s no longer over the picnic table). Good against mosquitoes, black flies and no-see-ems - keep a bug zapper handy for in and outs.

Great travel gazebo!

This is the easiest tent to use, one person can set it up. Goes up in less than 2 minutes and is a great size to fit a table and chairs under. The only thing i would change, i would have the screen be a bit more breathable. Not much air gets through.

Great canopy once you get the hang of setup

This canopy is great for car camping, especially with kids. Once you understand how to set it up, it’s a breeze and can go up in just a couple of minutes. That said, I didn’t really get it the first time we went camping which kept my wife and our neighboring campers highly amused. So make sure you read the instructions.
