Great overall
Added these to my hammock camping set-up for a kayak camping trip in the Everglades. These kept out all the marsh mosquitoes, and I expect to use it on an upcoming trip in an area known to have many no-see-um's. The zipper is easy to get in and out of, and storing away the net when it's not in use is easy as long as your gear sling is empty. However, setting this up takes a little getting used to: if you're using a sling for your gear, you'll want to adjust the lengths a few times times before allowing everything to be suspended. Once you do it once, you'll find what order works best for your hammock attachment system.
Just what I needed for relaxing in my hammock.
I have an ENO double hammock mounted on a generic stand on my deck. I live on a river in the Ozarks and bugs can be a detriment to relaxing in my hammock. After reading reviews and looking at the specs of several netting options, I decided on this one. I’m very pleased with the ease of use, comfort and effectiveness of of my choice. It’s super easy to set up and the horizontal zipper makes entry and exit easy as well.
Works great
I've only used it once in a tick and bug infested outing at Hoosier National Forest. Easy setup, lightweight and high quality.
Perfect hammock bug net.
Absolutely perfect hammock bug net. Light product, easy to set up with my ENOS double nest hammock. I was worried it would be hard to get in and out of, easy to snag or tear, but this is the perfect design. I used on a backpacking trip instead of a tent.
Nice for smaller hammocks
I have an Eno Single and this fits me well enough using it. If you're taller than 5'6'', I'd worry about using this to sleep though. It gets very tight with just an Eno Single, and, since the Eno Single doesn't sleep very comfortable for above average people, it may cause issues with a larger hammock.
Pretty Solid
Larger than the hammock, which allows me to drop my shoes into it while I sleep. Very convenient. Easily slides over the hammock. The guy lines are pretty good.
Keeps the bugs out! Solid customer support!
I used this bugnet when I stayed the night in Dry Lake in the San Gorgonio Wilderness. It was easy to set up, I just slid it around my "E" brand hammock and wrapped the lines around the same trees where the hammock straps went. It was effective in keeping the bugs out. One of the end slider strings snapped (not a show stopper anyway) so I reached out to Kammok and they sent me a new bug net! That's service. I bought a tarp recently and you bet it's a Kammok!
Snags very easily
This is not sturdy bug netting, snagged the first time I used it. I don’t like the horizontal zipper, it isn’t comfortable on legs when sitting and getting out of the hammock, too high, imagine trying to hold the hammock as you get out with this netting higher than the sturdier hammock material itself. Besides, it doesn’t work with the very nice Swiftlet hammock stand.
Excellent product
Used it in the backyard and at campground and it is a really good bug net while having quite a bit of them in the Northeast with this last wet Summer. Easy to install too. Go for it!
