Great Everyday Glasses
Great sunglasses overall. I used them mostly for rock climbing and hiking. The frames are stylish, sturdily built by hand, and fully Rx-able. The ultra thin polycarbonate lenses make for an ultra light pair of shades. The lenses aren’t too dark and offer great polarization, leading me to suggest these glasses are great for everyday use. However, I might suggest something else for all day fishing excursions in bright conditions. My only real concern is the “eco-friendly” title Peppers gives these glasses. Acetate is better than virgin plastics, but it is still constructed using various harmful chemicals and may or may not biodegrade completely. The glasses also arrived in the “Epic Leather Case.” Eco-friendly marketed sunglasses stored and shipped in a leather case is oxymoronic at best. Great sunglasses but the eco-friendly Peppers vision could use improving.
Comfortable shades
These are nice causal sunglasses that fit well and are very comfortable. The arms are thin and light with spring hinges to not dig in to your temples or ears, and prevent stretching out over time. So, the fit should stay consistent over time. The lenses are good quality with minimal distortion, and attenuate bright sunlight evenly across the spectrum so colors stay true to life. Lenses are also polarized with an inner AR coating to filter out glare in bright sunlight. The acetate frames are durable without feeling heavy. They are not great for vigorous activity or stopping wind, but they are a great style for everyday uses like driving or relaxing at the beach. Plus, they are priced at a good value for the quality of the materials and optics.
Unique and creatively designed sunglasses
I’ve always wanted “turtle-shell” framed sunglasses, and these are a great choice! I found them to be extremely light and comfortable. The lens are polarized and these are sold for an extremely reasonable price. I’ve been wearing these for 2 weeks now and would recommend them mostly for casual wear. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is they do tend to fall down my nose quite often, which is a bit annoying at times. But still are great sunglasses! I received these from REI for testing purposes and this is my honest review.
High quality glasses, run small
I love the look and feel of these glasses. They are high quality. The polarization is perfect for fishing or driving. My only complaint is that they run fairly small so the fit isn't perfect for my slightly wider face.
Great for whatever I’m up to!
I’ve been a fan of Pepper’s sunglasses for years, but these are even better than before. Honestly, I am always impressed by the value. They’re comparable with other brands selling at almost twice the price. And I wear them everywhere—the beach, the trail, a casual stroll, or bike ride. Love them! Must have!
Looks Great - Lightweight
These look great, are a great fit and comfortable. The polarization has a blue tint on the inside, but look brown to others. The polarization does seem to create a bit of a wavy effect.

These are super comfortable and really stylish. I love them. They are super light weight too, and the polarized lenses are amazing. Highly recommend.
