Perfect for outdoor activities!

The Smith Leadout Sunglasses with the interchangeable Chroma-pop lenses surpassed all my expectations. The ability to swap lenses out is easy to accomplish with the user friendly design. It’s not every day you find a pair of sunglasses that has successfully designed a great fit, look, case & use for multiple activities. I believe it’s worth the investment, looking forward to using these during all my outdoor adventures!

Great performance sunglasses, lighweight

These matte black Smith sunglasses are super light, barely feel like anything is on my face. They come with a dark and a light lens and are polarized, though the polarization does not make me dizzy. I had to put them on my head while trail running with the dark lenses rather than switch out the lens, and they stayed secure on my head, I forgot they were there! The nose pads on it are adjustable and grippy and do not slide off even when covered in sweat - so grippy that you have to be careful when taking them off. They fit well when wearing a bike helmet and as mentioned definitely stay in place. I use the lighter lenses more for biking than running or hiking, and it is nice that they kind of wrap around to keep out the bugs. Even though I followed the directions exactly, I totally thought I broke them when changing the lenses. Once you get the hang of it, then it is very easy to switch lenses. No cleaning cloth came with them, which is weird considering you have to put your fingers all over the lenses when changing them out. I just threw an extra one I had in the case. It would be nice to have some sort of soft carrying case for the lenses to go into, there is just one overall soft case with a separate pocket. I wrapped the extra lenses in the cleaning cloth and put them in that pocket. The generous hard case is big and has a place for everything, but sometimes I won’t want to carry the whole thing. Overall, these are great sunglasses and they perform well for trail running and biking, but they look a little big on my face. I kind of like how they look with the dark lenses, but the amber ones look a bit odd. They perform well in multiple conditions, and it's nice to be able to change out the lenses.

All in all these sunglasses

All in all these sunglasses are great. The clarity and colour pop out for sure and I can wear them (green lenses) in sunny and not so sunny conditions. Only issue for me is the fit around the nose is loose.

Awesome lens technology

Love these. The lenses do so much to improve visibility in high and low light conditions. I am a skier and I had so many issues with poor vis I ended up buying an expensive high power headlamp for night skiing after the 20/21. I also bought chromopop goggles, but hadn’t planned on them improving visibility to such a degree that I didn’t feel like I needed the headlamp all season. These lenses are incredible. I skied on storm days and could see clearly when vis was so bad I needed to wear orange gear so my friends could follow me down the mountain because they were looking into pea soup. I’m a huge fan of these lenses.

Good coverage sunglasses!

These sunglasses have great coverage around the eyes; sunlight doesn't seep in from the side. The rubber that fits the side of the head/over the ears is super flexible and comfortable. Glasses stay in place without being uncomfortable. The glasses themselves are super clear and with interchangeable lenses you can fit the right lens for the right light. It's super easy to change out the lenses. The nose piece is also interchangeable and easy to fit. Even with sweat on your face, the glasses stay in place. All in all, a great pair of glasses...not to big, not too small, just the right fit and flexibility.

Can’t be missed!

Love the fit on my face and how they integrate nicely with my Smith bike helmet. It’s a perfect system of quality and function. Huge fan of Smith’s products and very happy with these sunglasses. Looking forward to wearing them out on the water either fishing, SUP, kayaking or just to look cool out on the water.

Great glasses

I've had these for a couple weeks now and so far I'm quite happy with them. In my previous Smith sunglasses (Outback) the nose pads didn't grip my nose well and the glasses would slide lower than I wanted them to be. These seem plenty grippy and are also replaceable with is a nice feature. The pivlock feature is pretty neat but I haven't done an actual lens swap yet, looks to greatly simplify that process though. My only real complaint is that the rubber along the arms looked red in the photos but is actually more orange in person. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up over time

Leadout PivLock

I am very pleased with the Leadout sunglasses. I picked then for the interchangeable lenses, and have utilized both versions already. The extra nosepads made the fit perfect for me.

Love the changeable lens feature

The frame is better for BIG faces and probably more attractive to men than women. Fortunately, I have a big face so they work for me. They are really great sports glasses and I fell in love with how easy it is to change out the lenses from the dark set to the lighter set. I run and hike a lot in the forest, so it's nice to have those lighter lenses. The darker lenses are great for cycling and for walking and running down at the beach. They sit well on my face and are super light. They came with a hard case and a soft case, which allows for versatility when traveling.

Oversize Frames for a Smaller Face

I typically have a really hard time finding sunglasses that fit my narrow face. They often are too big/sloppy or wobbly on my face and will fall off my nose, but not these ones! I've been wearing them daily for over a week, and I am really liking them. The lenses are a little big, and looking at myself in the mirror took some getting used to because my last glasses were more of a wrap around style and a slimmer profile. Now that I'm used to them, I love them! Changing out the lenses is pretty intuitive and easy, which is a nice bonus.
