Carve Designs  Noosa Shorts - Women's

I purchased these in two sizes and kept the size 2 and returned the 4. For reference 5'1" and 103 lb. The fabric is very light weight and has good stretch. They fit well. They do have a rather "wonky" closure as also noted by another reviewer. No liner, but that wasn't an issue since wearing a thong with these allows them to dry much faster. That was the good part. Unfortunately on the first wearing on these the snap broke (came entirely out of the fabric) and there is now a gap in that section on the closure. Not sure if I'll return these and try to have them exchanged for another pair or just always wear them with a top that covers the top of the swim shorts.

I’m mostly happy with these shorts - they do all that board shorts should. What I don’t like is having to replace the tie every time I untie them, and they don’t tighten quite enough for my big butt/small waist. I’m still keeping them.

6" inseam is hard to find. There's a single snap on the fly, and the laces to close. I sized up because it was tight across the belly.

Ordered two sizes, one arrived with a defective snap. The other snap was fine but made of delicate plastic and seemed likely to break. Good length. Fabric and construction felt too delicate for board shorts, these felt more like swim short/swim skirt material. Ran large for me - I am usually small/medium, the 4 was a bit loose, and I was swimming in the 6.

I really like the length on these. They fit true to size with a little extra room if needed in the waist. The fabric weight is nice and light and will be very comfortable/cool to wear. The lace up part of the waist is a little funky for me; that is the only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.

bought for a family pool party. looked great while providing excellent coverage and protection. After a health issue I was told not to get sunlight on my upper body, so this was a classy looking alternative to a suit.

Nice length, not too short, not too long. Seems well made. True to size I think, I got a size 4 (at 5’5”/118) and it may be a bit loose at the waist but the lacing takes care of that and I prefer it not to cling at all. Note - no interior brief.

These fit exactly how I've been wanting shorts to fit!! For reference, I'm quite tall and have a small waist compared to my hips and thighs. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and the 6 fit great. The style is also exactly what I've been looking for - classic beach vibes. Only downside is that below the cute tie closure is one little snap button in the middle ... maybe that's traditional for board shorts but it kind of makes it look like my fly is unzipped sometimes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The length is too long and the fit is horrible. I bought these shorts a number of years ago before you started to change the sizing on your shorts. Those were a size 4 and they still fit. I ordered a 4, 6, and 8. Non fit. What a disappointment and wast of money with the cost of the return. The clothes you made in the past that I loved are now no longer a sure fit even sizing up. This has happened with more than these shorts.

I've been searching for the perfect board shorts and these are it. The length is perfect-- not too short or too long. I'm usually a size 6 in pants but got these in an 8 because it seems most swimwear is made for a younger body (I'm 64) and the bottom sizes are often too tight. These fit well, a little lower on my waist than the picture, which I prefer. They look and feel great.
