Great basic summer shorts
I am 5’4”, 120 lbs. and the size small in the Patagonia shorts is the perfect size. I love the smolder blue color, the 5” length and the double stitching. There is nothing not to like!
Not for curvy girls
I bought these without trying them on in store, so really this one is on me. I am a size 14 with large hips, so I bought the recommended large, but the elastic in the waist does not stretch enough to get over my hips. They are so cute, but I will be returning and getting a different style.
designed by a man
These must have been designed by a man or someone with minimal hips and butt. The waistband lacks any sort of stretch you need to pull these babies up. I am a true medium- could not get these above by butt to save my life. Tried going to a size large and I looked like Patrick Star. If you’re petite and not curvy, I’m sure these shorts are lovely, but if you are not a 180 degree angle, these shorts are also probably not for you.
Cute - but run small
Super cute and love the idea - but they do run small.
Good for all types of activites
I am about a size 6 and got a medium. They hit at my belly button and I can wear all kinds of tops. They are good material for both in water and hiking.

Baggies are the best
These are not my first pair of baggies -- baggies are comfortable, durable, easy to wear, and, in this case, a lovely lavender. Baggies are perfect for summer lounging, hiking, and even sleeping. I have to hold myself back from buying more!
best shorts ever, no riding up!
Absolutely love these shorts I have them so many colors. They are the only shorts I have found that don’t constantly need to pulled down while hiking. Super quick dry for water sports as well! I’m 5’2 110-120 lbs and a petite build with a larger bum. I got a size extra small and they are perfect
