Brief is WAY too big for shorts
I am so glad that I bought the colors that were on clearance. I used the size chart and my measurements to choose the size I needed and what a weird fit!! It’s as if they sewed XXXL briefs inside XL shorts. The outer shorts fit as expected, but I ended up having to cut the briefs out of the shorts. I had specifically looked for shorts with built in briefs, so it’s frustrating to have to remove them. If I pulled the waistband within an inch of my bra, the briefs fit, but I am not okay with wearing the waistband that high. For reference, I’m 5’9” and have a long torso. I have to buy extra long in one piece swimsuits. While just holding the shorts up the crotch of the briefs was just as long/touched the crotch of the shorts. The briefs are just so, so wrong.
Great Fit - Light Weight
I like the inner lining for extra protection and the front pockets are really convenient and large enough to fit a smartphone and keys with a lot of keychains! There is a drawstring on the inside for extra support and a very elastic waistband. The only thing I wish it had were back pockets, otherwise, great summer shorts for hot days since it’s such a breathable material.

Ok, almost perfect—would be great if the shorts had a small zippered pocket so as to keep a key while swimming. But otherwise these are just what I was looking for: lightweight, sun-protective, comfortable swim shorts.
Design flaw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall fit of these was nice, however the built-in liner made them unwearable. The liner left a dark outline that looked like a very obvious panty line. It was not flattering at all.
Size maybe runs a little big
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed the guidelines on size needed and it was too big. Have already ordered a smaller size and am sending the XL back. Love the material and can't wait to get my new pair.
Great for the outdoors
