Better closure than 7"
I wasn't sure if I wanted the longer shorts because at only 5', 9" inseam will take them down below my knees. However, I ended up keeping them because the closure on these is way better than the 7" inseam version, which I love. The 7" have this fly thing that tends to come open (needs some Velcro). These just have the standard strings to tighten and keep the fabulously comfortable lining, awesome pattern, and great functionality.
Extremely plus-size friendly!!
These swim trunks have totally healed my bad relationship with swimsuits. I never liked revealing one-piece suits or bikinis as a plus-size afab person; they made me feel objectified and show off some scars I don't like showing. These trunks are comfortable, really stylish, and compliment my figure well! I highly recommend them. Sizing was great for me, I'm an XL - go based off your ideal comfortable short size :]
Great Swim Trunk
As someone who is gender fluid. I just wanted a pair of shorts. These are the best comfortable swim trunks I ever worn. I chose these because of the lining and length. All day comfort and quick drying can go from pool or beach to run errands. With no worries about embarrassing mishaps or wardrobe malfunctions I also pick up the matching tank top. Both are true to size.
Runs small
Unfortunately this year’s version of these shorts fit smaller than last years. If you order go up a size. I have a pair from last year that are perfect as a 2x that I still have and love to wear. I loved this print that was offered this year but the 2x was too tight and no 3x available. I’m afraid the 3x will be too big but might try.
Doesn't cling to my body ❤️
I have never found a suit that didn't cling to my body the instant it got wet. Body image issues, sensory issue...hate it. THESE DON'T! Yes, there's the liner biker short like material, but the top short doesn't cling to it. I'm not constantly peeling it off my body. I'm so in love!! Dries easily too.
Bright and colorful but too big.
Unfortunately, I went by many reviews which said to go up one size. This fit way too big so I had to return it. I also didn’t like the overly thick waist band as I have sensitivity issues. I really wanted to love this, but just returned. Quality and print was nice.
Fits nice
I am an XL size and these were true to size, very comfortable and come with a mesh inside the pants around the crouch area. However, you should probably wear swim underwear for a more comfortable fit..
Disappointed
I never leave a review but tomboyx really upset Mr….Tried to reach out to customer service can not get a hold of anyone I’m very upset with this place 😡
Does the job
I like the look and they fit well, drawstring makes sure they stay put. Inner liner feels okay but a bit flimsy, I'm not expecting a long life from that.
Weird fit
L too tight/fit weird in the thighs, XL too big overall. I have an athletic bod, smaller waist and fleshy butt and thighs. 5’7” 165lbs
