I have two pairs of these joggers because I love them so much. The first pair I purchased is a size S, and they are very baggy and loose fitting but they are so comfortable and they stay on just fine (I wish there was a drawstring, but there isn't). Many reviewers say to size down, so for my second pair I decided to try an XS just to see if they were a more accurate fit. The difference between a S and an XS was crazy, and the XS absolutely did not work for me and were too tight. I exchanged for another S. I love these so much - if there was a drawstring I would give them 10 stars. I would advise not sizing down, and just recognizing that the fit will be very relaxed.
I'm in love with these pants. I've ordered 2 of these pants in the gray and black. As a nurse, I wear them for work. I also wear them outdoors, walking, hiking, biking. They're extremely comfortable! They have good stretch, but don't lose their shape. I can wear them several days in a row before feeling like they need a wash. I initially tried a size small, which did fit, but I sized down because the pants don't have a drawstring in the waistband. It's more like a yoga pant waistband, and I prefer those a little more snug since I can't change the size with a drawstring. I'm very pleased with these pants. Definitely worth buying!
These work great for hiking and backpacking. They are lightweight, and wicking, plus they hold up against rocks and other abrasive bits on the trail. The loss of a star is because they are the least flattering pants I now own. They fit well in terms of staying in and providing function. But they made me look so grumpy it’s hilarious. Good thing I’m not hiking and backpacking as a model. I’m 5’7, 150lbs with 34in inseam and thunder thighs for days. I bought a size Medium and the waistband is perfect.
So comfortable, great as a recovery/camp pant. No drawstring in the newer design though. Light weight too.
Um, these are tight across hips. I am a solid 4, 27 in madewell, and a 2-3 in jcrew. These pull in a weird annoying way across my hips. They're kind of suffocating. And they fall down if I put an iphone 13 mini in the pocket. I am 126 pounds, and 5'6. They feel tight and uncomfortable. Returning. Can not comprehend good reviews that say they run large??? Bad advice. I got ink black. Nice color. The good is these are high quality construction and they look high end. They do not feel cheap in any way. Just weird hip cut. I also have no butt and am flat in the rear. So not a curvy issue.
I love these so much. Waist fits perfect, no rolling or falling down. The hips could be a little more fitted for me but I'm ok with it as the rest of the leg is just right - loose without being frumpy. Love the material as it stretches a little and is so smooth and drapes just right. For me, these are so much more attractive than the older version that was shorter and wider. This newer version of the hike jogger is a slimmer, more elongating style. Please don't stop offering this!
I bought these in XS. They fit great, and this seems to be my size in Patagonia pants. (All my pants from Patagonia are XS.) I like the new design, though I have read that many people were unhappy with it. Personally I like the leg cuffs and the waistband is flattering on me. Works great for petites, as the length hits at the ankle, which can be a challenge for most pants where the inseam is too long.
I got the basin green. size small I'm size 6 / 28 waist pear shape. the fit is good. very comfortable, I wear them at least once a week. wash and toss in dryer no issues and still look new. cons: waistband and bottom cuff. holy waist band Batman. I've had two kids and I think these would work till the 9th month of pregnancy. the top reminds me of Prego pants and I try hard to hide it. length is fine but as soon as I sit they ride up and the cuff is tight so they don't fall down. they get stuck on my mid calf and I have to pull down. I got these to wear at my job in a lab but with a no ankle/leg skin exposed these are impossible to wear. would I buy again... honestly don't think I would. now I am wearing them not for hiking which honestly is lame of me to give them a negative review. I do wear them at home and are comfortable 4 stars.
Great feel and soft material and the pockets are great, but runs too large. The waist is either high and WIDE or it is low, creating an inseam that is too long for activity.
I like the pants. They seem to be nice quality so far. But they length is definitely on the shorter side. I suspect they're intended to be, and I don't mind that with these.
